Gianna had no idea how to feel at this moment. She was in a new relationship that shocked her, just because she never had any luck when it came to that type of thing. She didn’t want to sabotage it in the beginning, but she did have her reservations about Nehemiah. Maybe it was how her past relationships had been that gave her this feeling, but she felt the need to get an outsider’s view on things. She knocked on the door as she waited for the person to answer. “Hey…how are you?”

Estonia was meeting with Gianna. She really had no idea what she could give her. She was private about their family affairs. She did, however, understand that Gianna wanted to feel comfortable in knowing that she could trust Nehamiah. She also believed in second chances. She was a firm believer in that. “Hello!” Estonia smiled and welcomed GG into their home. “I was just about to call you and make sure you found the place ok, but then again you know already.” She had a small table of refreshments for them. She always was hospitable when it came to having guest of any kind.
“Help yourself, get cozy, I hope the heater isn’t too much for you, it’s cold as hell outside.” She laughed. “Okay Gianna, what’s up girl? What exactly are you seeking? Anything like specific? Is Nem giving off red flags or something?” Stoni crossed her legs and took a sugar cookie.
Gianna was glad that Estonia was so welcoming and friendly. She kind of felt bad for prying into their family, but she needed to know what she was getting herself into. Gianna walked into the beautiful home and made herself comfortable. “Everything’s fine. Thank you for having me over.” She sat down and chuckled as Estonia rambled off questions. “He’s been great so far. I have no complaints, it’s just that I have had troubling past relationships and I don’t want to make the same mistakes. I know Nehemiah has a past and so do I, so I’m not here to judge because I can’t. I just want to make sure that his intentions are pure and that what he says is true.” Gianna couldn’t lie, she had trust issues due to her last relationship and drug issues from her relationship with Exodus. She didn’t want to go through what she went through before or have to play the Bonnie role. Gianna could get herself in tons of trouble and needed no additional help.
Estonia has her own reasons and reservations about Nehamiah, and she has seen first hand some of his faults, but he was out of jail and proving himself well so far. Stoni could only praise him. “Honestly, his past is behind him , and that’s what Dem and I hope. We are sort of like you…giving him a chance. It’s not like we are waiting for him to fuck up either. We are trusting him.” Estonia took a drink before continuing. “As far as being a womanizer? He’s had women. Okay, “ she laughed. “A lot, I mean he was a bachelor then, he had a right to date and you know, all that good stuff, but if he’s persistent with you, and showing you that he’s interested then I think you got something. It takes a lot to hold onto his attention.”
Hearing Estonia talk about Nehemiah and how everyone is hoping that he has changed gave Gianna hope. She took a sip of her water. “He’s been very kind towards me and hearing you say that validates everything for me. I wish my past relationship didn’t make me so insecure where I had to reach out to you.” Gianna was working on not being so insecure in relationships, because she did want to find true love one day. She deserved it. “I’m glad he has you and Demetrius supporting him, though.”
Estonia never would have thought she would be on good terms with Nehamiah. He has hurt both her and Demetrius so many times when he was in and out of trouble with the law. She did believe he was trying to change and she was learning now about not holding the past against people who are trying their best to change for the better. “I think you should not let your relationships from your past dictate your future. I’m learning that now as we speak.” Stoni was never candid about her life, she was really really private, but if her story could help someone else then she was all for it. “It took me up until now to understand that the past will ruin prosperity in friendships, marriages, relationships...You should step out on faith with this one and keep giving him a chance. Maybe he needs this.”
Estonia was caught looking lavish at MOXY BAR in New York City. Sources say, she and her husband Demetrius Cartier were seen laughing and giving MUCH PDA!

Married life took a turn for the worst for Demetrius when they signed onto the show, and he hated it. He thought they were gonna be the couple that everybody wanted to follow, but instead everybody pegs him as the bad husband. Work did overshadow the marriage, but he felt like it also brought more attention to their flaws. When they decided to separate he was angry at @estonxa more than he liked to admit, but as time went on he felt himself growing away from her, and feared that she would do the same. Finally willing to fight for the marriage, they were at their first counseling session.
Therapist: Estonia, why are you here?
Dem saw that she didn’t respond, and felt like he did what he said he didn’t want to. He sighed, and shook his head.
Therapist: My homework for you two is to go on a date, and act like it’s the first time. I have a feeling you too are still stuck in the past, but once he came back from rehab you both had evolved into different people. You have to get to know the new yous, and stop dealing with each other with the old versions still in mind. You have to train your heart to open up to each other again.
“Im willing to follow this.” She smiled, a little happier than before. Maybe this therapy session was going to benefit them.
Later
In the parking lot of the therapist office, Estonia and Dem was about to head home. “I never considered how you felt as far as your past goes. I’m sorry I didn’t take it into mind that you have come a long way since then. I respect and love how you grew from that. I never said I was proud of you being sober either. I don’t think I ever congratulated you, and I’m sorry Dem for that.” This meeting was starting them somewhere. And a simple apologize and realization of wrongdoing, was a good step for Estonia.
Dem knew that today was going to stir up a lot of emotions, and past feelings. He went into the meeting knowing that his past was going to come up. They never talked about it, or even acknowledged what happened. This first session was a success in his eyes. “And I want to apologize for putting you through that, and coming back treating you like a victim instead of my wife.” Coming back home ,after everything, he wanted to make sure that she felt safe at all times, and didn’t realize that love wasn’t always safe. They were supposed to express themselves to each other no matter the mood, but also still remember that they had love for each other.
Arriving home, Estonia felt a small sense of release. She followed closely behind Dem and as soon as the key hit, she found her arms around his neck with her head against his chest. All she wanted was to hug in silence. Just to take in the moment. Feel his heart beat, smell his cologne, and just….be.
When she placed her arms around him, he did the same in return. It had been so long since the two of them stood silent, and just accepted the energy that the other had to offer. At the core of all their mess there was love there, and people could say whatever about him, because he knew when he went to bed she thought otherwise. “I love you.” He said to her softly, breaking the silence.
“I love you too.” She said through clinched tearful eyes. “So much.” She took a deep breath and with it, the past passed through.

“He called the shots.” She shrugged. “When he left, he would go, sometimes for a long time, then when he decides to come back he does.” She shrugged. “Whenever there was tension he would always excuse himself.”
“Because before anytime I would get a little angry she would have that scared look in her eyes, so yes when she starts getting reckless I dip.” He hated seeing that look in her eyes, so he would rather give them time to cool off before discussing the matter.
She remained silent afterwards, because in this case, he was right.

After some recooperating she came back.
“Do we have to do this?” She thought of the first time he hit her. She was so distraught, it had her afraid all over again. She knew that if she mentioned it, she wouldn’t hear the end of it. “I don’t know…I don’t want to do this anymore.” She looked at Dem, for some strange reason she felt that this was a paid thing. She was paranoid. Was this real? “I’m sorry okay…can we just…I want to go home. I don’t want to do this.”
Dem didn’t know what would have her freaking out like this. He stayed in his seat as the production team calmed her down. At one point he thought this was her way of making this all about her, and then when she came back he really thought this was about the show.
“Whatever you got to say I can take it. I know when we first started dating I was in a dark place.”
Therapist: What was going on?
Dem took a deep breath, because he’d come a long way from that time in his life. “I was addicted to coke, and had a drinking problem.” He took a deep breath, and rubbed his sweaty palms on his thighs. This was way before the music business, and he paid some powerful people to keep it locked away. Although he cleaned up his act, he was embarrassed of everything that he did.
Therapist: Where were you when all of that was going on with him, and how did it directly effect you?
She shook her head. “I was locked up In the house. If I wasn’t getting yelled at, or threatened, then I was in the house either doing my duties as a wife or writing.”
Therapist: Did he ever put his hands on you?
Demetrius knew the answer she was going to give, but being 4 years sober he knew that he’d evolved since then. He sat back on the couch, and just listened. It was a dark time for him, and he was digusted with himself when his mind cleared, and all he had was the memories.
Estonia looked at the Therapist and then to Dem. “Yes, “ she kept her eyes glued to him. “But I forgave him. And I loved him in spite of.” She turned back to the therapist. “I knew that wasn’t him...when I look at him now versus looking at him then? Two different people.”
