“Aaah!! Didi!!” Kara squealed and ran towards her friend, enveloping her in a tight hug. “Its been so long I’ve missed you so much!”

Beeta waited patiently for his sister to move, settling on waving to her while she was occupied.

Didi has to brace herself for Kara’s hug, a slight ‘oof’ leaving her as she’s squeezed. “Jesus– God, I missed you too, cher, but I can’t breathe–” Even with the lack of oxygen, Didi’s laughing happily and hugging her friend just as tightly. “It’s been ages!”

Beeta is thrown a wave as well, Didi’s sheepish smile saying he may be waiting a while before Kara properly released her.

"I swear, we're never going to go that long without seeing each other again!" Kara gave her another squeeze and lifted her slightly off the ground. Just being around Didi was making her happier, the cheek splitting grin making her face ache in the best way. "Beeta , you're gonna have to pry her away from my cold dead hands I swear!"

He snorted, rolling his eyes and folded his arms over his chest. "You will be sharing." Beeta was giving his sister a pointed look, but the playful tone and smile ruined the stoic pretense he was putting up.
