I donāt like when Americans feel such self importance because they can the language that is universally spoken in the world, just because they live in that said country, thatās why they can speak it so donāt fool yourselves itās not because yāall are the pinnacle of the earth and the chosen ones. It only means that yāall got treated good by the system who implemented that and god knows what system that is.
When they see a person that canāt speak it or encounter it online hell letās lose, they get judgy, they donāt wanna hear your thoughts, they dismiss you as unintelligent straight away, they see you as indifferent and something to be afraid of, because language is that important(or is it? Or are you just afraid of the silence between words). They will send you sms telling you to learn it, to not speak anymore UNTIL you learn it, to never try again because gosh that was awful, to come back and you might be one of us..*might* because here we arenāt gonna tone down not when we already are well expressed and cultured (but are they really? They are performative and take and toss things other people put their time to explain, itās just how language works š¤·š»āāļø). and they will do it publicly or privately not giving a damn because hey itās just language, right?..
I want this to stop, I want compassion back into America, I want people to listen instead of their butts, I want them to decentralised all the American propaganda they are still possessing. It HURTS.
