Anyways WASH YOUR HANDS after touching something in public. The Hantavirus is contracted through waste from rodents like rats. We all went through a pandemic back in 2020 and you know how that negatively impacted people from loss of family to struggling with jobs and having to stay indoors we really don’t want that to happen again.

Wear a mask. Use hand sanitizer anything to keep yourself as clean as possible when out in public. Please be safe.

Some minor silly and maybe big AU ideas I had for Letum. Gonna move onto Thana and Alvara eventually

Adding this

Going to begin with the bigger AU ideas

Starting with how Letum got his name which means the end or demise in latin. Demise gave this name to him before he disappeared because he claims Letum as his own "son" and wanted to name his first son after himself. Since the demon king claimed Letum as his own, this makes Letum the prince of darkness and the monsters.

Before he was defeated Demise managed to take all the corruption and darkness from the world and turned it into the Dark Triforce but like Hylia he couldn't take it in his current form so he used his own essence and a chunk of a living soul to create Letum for the next life where he will claim the dark Triforce.

I think for this AU Demise also had his reasons for doing what he has done. To him or the monsters it is justifiable but for the majority it was not. So theres still like controversy going on around that to this very day. He was smart and thoughtful with what he did, knowing the consequences and damage that came with it hence why many are highly unforgiving. Despite that there are debates about it.

Demise himself was also curious about the world. His pride and wrath refused to allow him to admit this though so no one knows about this side of him. And unlike Letum, Demise never had the luxury of getting to know the world in a different light. However Letum managed to adopt this trait. And though he is quite reserved with this emotion he dies have his moments where he will ask Alvara a bunch of questions about it and feeling mesmerized by the thing that ensnared his gaze.

Something else that came to my mind is that probably only a very select few would know of Letum's actual existence with Alvara and Thana knowing for obvious reasons, since they travel alongside him. But the rest of the world mostly not because of how Letum came to be was permanently lost to time. Of course Letum is not bothered by thus since he’s never had the luxury of being held with high regard or praise.

Another thing is that Letum will not use his real name given the meaning behind it which I think people would know. So he'd go by Demittere which means to Let down or Fall in Latin. At the suggestion of Alvara he uses Demtiri Or Demi for short so that it sounds more natural. He will only ever use his true name in serious circumstances.

I should also probably address this with Dark Link and (I'm gonna refer to him as Shadow) Letum just so that way I don't forget and it's out there and I'll be able to make changes if need be.

Shadow was Letum's guardian/parental figure. He took on the task of a caretaker and essentially raised Letum with what little knowledge of the world he had. He was not perfect but he tried his best and did love Letum like his own. However when Link entered the water temple, Shadow figured out that Link is the reincarnation of the great hero that fought Demise. He assumed that Link was there for Letum. To Link however he was there for a trial of some sort and not Letum specifically. Out of fear of losing his child Shadow hid Letum away to protect him then fought Link and lost. Letum was traumatized and did everything he could to keep Shadow alive but ultimately he was left alone. He managed to extract and still has Shadow's dark soul in his little pouch that he carries with him, in hopes to one day revive him.

This is all I have for these important parts specifically. I mean there is more but I am not confident enough to post that yet, but things may change the more I learn about the time lines and lore. So I might add more to this post.

Onto the other notable stuff

Letum's personality is reserved and tends to keep his emotions in check. He doesn't really talk much unless necessary or he is around someone that he has taken a fondness too. It is hard to know what he is thinking because of how neutral and calm he looks and acts. He keeps his emotions in check nor does he experience moment’s that stir these emotions inside him often. And when he does it’s usually fleeting unless whatever caused said emotion to occur is on a grander to cause one.

Unlike Link he cannot wear arm guards or gloves because of his rough and tough skin and scales. Even if he tried too it would not look aesthetically pleasing or comfortable for him. He has hard sharp nails and scales that cover parts of his body but the most notable are the ones on his neck and forearm. Which unfortunately he has gained some slight unwelcoming reactions and responses. It is nothing new to him though so he simply just ignores it.

Alvara is the only one who can really get a word out of him, but not too often. She does remind him a lot of Shadow so he's more vocal with her compared to others like Thana . They don't need to talk often however as venturing is enough for them as is along with the random bursts of questions Letum asks Alvara anytime he sees something for the first time and he finds heavily interesting

I think that's all for now...might add drawings to this post but we shall see.

Really need to get Letum’s lore more sorted properly but I smile anytime I think that despite how he came to be and what he is capable of. He still has moments where something from the world he’s in, leaves him mesmerized and in awe….like “wow…I just saw something really cool…” and he proceeds to talk to Alvara (the fairy) about it and having a bunch of questions like is this thing alive, how, where,what when, those usual questions that involve these words. And though Alvara does get annoyed she is tolerable because he doesn’t show this part of himself often. Usually when he sees something he will take mental notes, and rarely even utter a word about it before continuing on with his endless wandering

Made some kind of dark Link. Not confident to share all of his lore yet but he has relations to ganon/demise and how he came in to existence. Once I figure things out I’ll add more to this post or edit it/make revisions if need be

Might add more drawings or lore to this post later on but yeah, New magister.

Their name is Iris. If I ever feel like posting their lore I will in another post. But to give some info they have a tendency to be a quite curious about things. They are soft spoken but can be chatty with people they feel comfortable around.

I have it head-cannoned friends with Dionel!! After they met at the moon temple Dionel will sometimes invite Iris out to his parties the moment they are free and usually chat. It’s more so just a way to get Iris to relax. Iris usually doesn’t drink since they don’t like some tastes of certain drinks, but if Dionel offers malt nectar, they will drink with him since they’re friend. The malt nectar is what helps Iris relax a little but Dionel will try to keep them from drinking too much. Iris is not built like Dionel haha.

For the last drawing Dionel is relaxing. Why wear armor when you are chilling with a friend… (totally not because I got too tired to draw the armor….)
