Hi blog, how are ya?
Honestly, cannot stress enough how weird it is for me to be actually sitting down and typing an actual blog post after such a long break. Will not bore you with promises that now I’ll write more often, I’ll just get to the point.
Since London Fashion Week is probably the most exciting time of the year for me I’ve decided to share some #tb moments from September for you to see what looks I chose to rock while walking down the runway aka streets of London.
LOOK #1
Dress GUESS/ Bag ZARA/ Boots GUESS
A very romantic yet not cheesy look to start my LFW 2019. #FunFact, to my first show I went alone, thus I had no one to take pics of my outfit so I decided to be my best charming self and ask help from strangers. It was the first time I did that, it was, indeed, very scary, but I found two lovely girls who agreed to do it and even asked me if I want some more in a different location. Honestly, we need more people like that in this world! Sending love and positivity to you girls!
LOOK #2
Jacket KAREN MILLEN/ Top NEW LOOK/ Shorts STRADIVARIUS/ Sneakers STEVE MADDEN
Oh, wearing this outfit was so much fun I’d do it any day if it wasn’t so cold now! I just had an idea that I should do my hair in two ponytails and the rest kind of came naturally to me. I don’t know why but I felt like a PowerPuff Girl a bit.
LOOK #3
Jacket vintage/ Skirt ZARA/ Boots KAREN MILLEN/ Bag MANGO
This was my look for day 2 of London Fashion Week and it was probably one of my favourite looks created by me ever in general. I’m a sucker for OTK boots, so whenever I have an opportunity to wear them, I take it without a doubt.
LOOK #4
Jacket GUESS/ Dress SHEIN/ Boots KOIFOOTWEAR/ Belt IVYREVEL
For the third day of LFW I knew I wanted to wear a flowy dress just because it was such a hot and beautiful day! The jacket was there only for the pictures and, yes, I was definitely too hot in those boots, but they do look cool, don’t they?
So these were my 4 outfits for London Fashion Week 2019. Hope you liked this and hope that you missed me at least teeny tiny bit!
See you soon!
xo,
Well, hellooooooo. This has been a very long break from actual blogging, but I’m pretty excited to be writing this post and just remembering what it feels like.
I stopped doing it because I was just super drained from all of it. Loads of stuff was happening in my life and the thought of writing something here just didn’t excite me at all and I didn’t want to do it just for the sake of it. We all have those moments, I guess.
But today, I’m more than excited to present you some cute knitwear pieces from Femme Luxe UK for this golden autumn that we’re enjoying at the moment!
1. TWO PIECE CO-ORD SET
Before ordering this, I’ve never in a million years would have thought that I’d be wearing something like that and actually enjoying it at the same time. It’s super comfy and when you put it on you’re kind of done with it because it’s a two piece so all you need more is an oversized jacket to keep you warm and some ankle boots to make everything a little bit more chic.
2. BLACK CROPPED JUMPER
This one is just a classic that we all need at some moment in our wardrobes. Goes perfectly with any high waist pair of trouser and gives you an amazing shape.
3. OPEN NECK JUMPER
Who would say no to a snuggly baby pink knit piece? Definitely not me. I love how oversized it is and you can literally wear it with anything. From vinyl trousers to a simple pair of jeans or a mini skirt it just goes with every single one of them.
4. MUSTARD STRIPE JUMPER
Stripes make your outfit look much more like fun, don’t you think? And with these warm shades you just couldn’t be more ready for autumn.
5. CHUNKY CROP JUMPER
Well, isn’t the colour of this one we all adore the most? It’s just screams “pumpkin spice latte” to me. Also, it’s extremely warm. If it’s one of those warm sunny autumn days, forget about the jacket if you’re wearing this jumper. You’ll be fine, believe me.
So, these are my choices for fall. If you want to choose yours just go to Femme Luxe UK!
Hope you liked my little come back to blogging! Don’t forget that my DMs on Instagram (@vytautemi) are always open! x
See you soon!
xo,
V

41 days already have passed since our trip to the dreamland, Majorca. Time will always be a mystery to me, whenever you want to enjoy the moment as long as possible, it just vanishes somewhere far away and you catch yourself scrolling through your camera roll and posting endless #tbt pictures while trying to adjust to the same routine and heal yourself from those holiday blues asap.
Not gonna lie, my mind is still there, strolling around the cutest streets of Palma de Mallorca and looking at the endless shores of Mediterranean sea. And you know what helps me to keep the memories alive? Music. And my beautiful headphones from Sudio. They became my best friend during my endless and tiring tube journeys.
Sudio headphones isolate the sound of your surroundings completely, so I whenever I close my eyes, I find myself sunbathing at the beach. They also are wireless, have 24 hours of playtime and interchangeable design caps that make the whole concept much more fun and stylish.
They will always remind me of my time in Majorca and I think that is what really defines #SudioMoments.
You can find my headphones here or you can go to their website and choose the ones You like the most. And don’t forget to use “etheall15” for 15% off, you’re welcome.
Now, let’s enjoy some visuals I created for Sudio in Majorca (of course).
See you soon!

P.S. shoutout to my boyfriend, he was the one behind the camera!
Spring means new lipstick colours, am I right? It’s even better if you have 22 shades to pick from. New beauty brand Mark. by Avon launched Epic Lipstick with built in primer.
Not gonna lie, my lips are always extremely dry, thus I was pretty sceptical about using Epic Lipstick at first. However it didn’t dry my lips even more and it kind of survived half of my usual day at work where I’m constantly talking to clients and my lips are always on the run (lol, sounds funny). I honestly loved how moist my lips felts after applying it. And it also has SPF15 add in, that made me love it even more.
What else is good about Epic? Having in mind all of its advantages, it really is affordable. You can get it online only for £4.50! How savvy is that?
Now let’s move on to the pictures and my 5 favourite colours from the whole collection!
1. rosy outlook
Who doesn’t love a good old nude lipstick from time to time? Not the craziest colour, but it just looks good with anything and helps in those “I-don’t-know-what-am-I-doing-with-my-make-up-today” situations better than anything else.
2. be loud
I think I’m still not brave enough to wear this color, but who knows maybe one day I’d feel like wearing and totally slaying in it?
3. coral burst
Every girl need to have a classic red lipstick in her make up bag. Could’t be happier that I finally have one!
4. berry bold
Slightly different shade of red. For those days when you’re just feeling yourself.
5. temptress
Bold, savage, epic. No more words needed talking about this shade.
Aaaaand voilà! The Epic Lipstick collection. Of course, there are 17 other shades to explore so go HERE and choose your favourites!
The name of this new post is kind of making me laugh because it sounds so dramatic and it seems like I’m going to talk about something extra serious. I’m not saying that spending your money is not a serious thing (actually when you’re just entering this adult world and starting to support yourself with as little help from parents as possible, it’s super serious), but when this magical period of sales starts and every single shop you like has 50% or more off, you kind of start to have fun with your credit card and forget all of your responsibilities.
Sounds familiar? For me it does. A lot. I wouldn’t say that I was super irresponsible this January. Maybe just a little. Before we start you can read this post of mine on HOW TO SHOP DURING SALES, you’ll find some good advice, you just have to remember to actually use it while you’re shopping.
KNITS
Karen Millen white ruffled shoulder sweater
I fell in love with this romantic and super girly knit the minute it came to our shop. It looked like such an item that you could throw on and look kinda posh but also like you’re not trying too hard, because you can easily wear jeans or faux leather leggings with it. However, a lot of time has passed and I kind of forgot about it, it was quite pricy, you know. And then January came and I saw it was £30 and the last size Small was hanging just there and bam I was carrying it home in my bag. And after wearing it for a couple of times I actually realised “damn, it’s white and it’s knitted”. Also, I started noticing it got those tiny bubbles on the surface of it (I don’t know how to explain it better, but only knitted pieces can have these little thingies on that you have to take off yourself and its really annoying) and it needed to be hand-washed just to get its beautiful pearl white colour back. I’m sure I will wear it again, but I definitely don’t have that much time to take such a good care of it so it would stay wearable for a long time.
VERDICT: failure
ADVICE: as much as “last item in stock” or “omg such a great price” pressure is hitting you, you must think about the time you will have to put into taking care of that piece of clothing and whether you’re actually willing to do it or you have some better ways of spending those £30.
Karen Millen golden turtle neck
This one cost me £30 as well, but the difference is that it’s easy to take care of and you can style it with anything. You can never have enough turtle necks, they’re stylish and warm and that is a win win, my friends.
You can see me wearing it here
VERDICT: victory
ADVICE: even if it’s sale look for pieces you know you already love and know how to style. Sometimes staying in the safe zone saves those £ £ £.
French Connection fuschia sweater
And this one is an example how an impulsive sales pick can be actually a big win. I saw this completely randomly, didn’t really have an intention to buy it but the colour just mesmerised me. I loved how oversized it was and that it had those intentional holes everywhere. It’s a statement piece that will be with me during SS18 for sure, because fuschia is THE colour of the season! Oh and it was only £25.
You can see me wearing it here
VERDICT: victory
ADVICE: use sales as a time for being brave with your style too. You can find amazing, stand out, statement pieces for really low prices, so if you can think of ways how you’re going to wear it, take it!
Miss Guided jumper dress
I wanted a jumper dress for such a long time that when I saw this one for only £17 I was like yep, where’s that credit card at. It came and it kind of looked like a bag. It’s extra warm for winter and I still found some ways to style it, but from the moment I got it (and it was I think like middle of December) I wore it only once…eh
You can see me wearing it here
VERDICT: failure
ADVICE: always remember what you truly like to wear and what you feel most comfortable in. Sometimes spending extra few pounds but for an item that looks amazing on your body shape pays off much more than impulsively going for a random sales item.
TROUSERS
Jeans from Miss Guided and Mango
Whenever I’m buying a pair of jeans I don’t want them to be just a simple plain pair. I want it to have some kind of detail that would make everything more fun. Both of these pairs have it. I still haven’t tried wearing the Mango ones so I’m not really sure how I will like cigarette shaped jeans on me, but that side detail is super cute so I’ll try my best to style them right. The Miss Guided ones cost me £15 and Mango £25.
VERDICT: victory
ADVICE: with jeans during sale you can never go wrong. You’ll always need a pair of jeans. It’s an all time essential.
Ivyrevel Hysteria Pants
Okay, this is the moment where I realised that impulsive online shopping is a pretty crappy idea (sometimes). I loved how they looked on the model in the picture, I absolutely adored the belt, I saw the price and bam they’re mine. When I unpacked them I immediately saw that they were made from that kind of material which attracts dust and all kinds of hair to the entire surface (I hope I explained this one right). Also they didn’t have that skinny fit that I’ve expected them to have from that picture, so yeah…not seeing me wearing them that often. £17, by the way.
You can see me wearing it here
VERDICT: failure
ADVICE: one thing you should remember while shopping during sales online is that there is a reason why a certain item was discounted. It just wasn’t that successful and clients didn’t like it that much to buy it full price. Just don’t let yourselves be blinded by those extra low prices completely.
ACCESSORIES
The story with accessories is that they all have already been victories for me and I wore them couple of times already. I don’t know about you, but I never go wrong while buying them and I always end up wearing them to death. So I don’t really have an advice for this one, maybe just that you really have to have fun with bags, shoes, belts, scarves and jewellery. They are usually the ones that make your outfit pop.
Accessorize faux fur boa, £9
You can see me wearing it here
Ivyrevel red snake print belt, £13
You can see me wearing it here
Accessorize earrings and rings, ±£12
Mango ankle boots, £19
It’s been a very long post, thank you to whoever is still reading up to this point and I really hope it was useful. Because these pieces were all sale items, they are no more available online and unfortunately I couldn’t find the links for you. Sooo sorry! Don’t forget you can always DM me (@vytautemi) with any ideas or questions or random “hello’s”.
There is a reason why people say London is the best place to be during Christmas. Of course, I do agree with that and I cannot wait to share my favourite places to visit during this magical time!
WINTER WONDERLAND
To be honest, I was quite sceptical about this place before I actually went there. One Saturday my boyfriend and I, we decided to go there and what we saw wasn’t magical at all. The queue to get there was insane. It felt like the whole Hyde Park wasn’t spacious enough to contain all these people. After that I had my second chance to visit Winter Wonderland on a calm Tuesday afternoon and it was everything I’ve ever wanted from Christmas in London! Mulled wine, churros, hot doughnuts, Christmas lights everywhere, music, crazy roller coasters, I could go on and on, but to experience it all you have to go there yourselves and try not to do it during peak aka the weekend!
PEGGY PORSCHEN CAKES
I think many of you have already heard about this “Instagram heaven” kind of place. Their cakes are not THAT heavenly but the atmosphere sure is. You can understand why people stand in queue to get that pink table. Their Christmas decorations are just so delicate and cute that all you want to do is to take pictures and let your hot chocolate get cold, because you just gotta do it for the ’gram, lol.
NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ICE RINK
No, I can’t skate and I’m super afraid to do that, but it’s still one of my fav places to go during Christmas period. If the daylight is good enough, I can assure you, you’ll get that perfect Instagram shot with the carousel behind you.
SOUTHBANK CENTRE’S WINTERTIME FESTIVAL
I haven’t been there myself, but from the pictures I can already tell that it’s that cute winter market place where you can enjoy a cup of mulled wine while looking at and taking pictures of festive London Bridge.
SELFRIDGES & HARRODS
Yes it’s usually super busy, but it’s worth to go there once just for the sake of beautiful decorations. Trust me, they really know how to do it.
So, for now, that is it from me. Hope you enjoyed my little tourist guide and if you know any more exciting places to visit during this sparkly period, pleaseee do not hesitate and send me a DM on Instagram (@vytautemi)!
See you soon!

Buut just before you leave, enjoy some pictures of my outfit that I wore this weekend!
Have you ever felt like you have enough (who am I kidding lol) pair of all kinds of shoes, but none of them are THE ONES? The ones that you love to bits and want to wear them everyday and everywhere? The ones that are stylish, go-with-everything AND comfortable?
I proudly announce you that, yes, I finally found them, my perfect pair from INGILIZ. I want this post to sound as honest as it can, because I literally adore these shoes, this brand and I really want you guys to learn about it too.
Everything that I’ve written in the first para has come from my own experience wearing this pair of beautiful genuine leather ankle boots.
COMFORT
At first, I thought they won’t be comfortable, cause beautiful shoes tend to be made in that way, but oh I was so wrong. I could walk miles in these shoes and there wouldn’t be one blister on my feet, believe me.
GO-WITH-EVERYTHING
I’ve tried them wearing with a skirt, with black trousers (as you can see) and with jeans. Everything works. You could even pull them off with a flow floral dress, for example.
STYLE
Yep, I know they’re kind of Gucci dupes, but it doesn’t make them less stylish or less qualitative. They are statement boots with or without double G on the side.
Now a little about the brand. So, surprisingly, INGILIZ is a Bulgarian brand that was established more than 20 years ago in a town called Peshtera. After helping other shoe brands in making their product, the skills of their craftsmen and the experience they’ve gathered made them establish their own brand that delivers quality until today.
They have styles for every taste, so I strongly advise you to check their page and their Instagram out. It isn’t just a pair of shoes. It’s an investment to a pair that will last you for more than one season.
Hope to see you soon!

I feel like all of my blog posts start with me apologizing for not posting here enough and explaining how I’ve missed doing that. Not gonna lie, I wanted to say that again, but just to be honest – I suck (a little, of course) at time management and I left all of my uni work to the last minute. Also, Christmas period in retail has already started, so work is getting more and more stressful and I just try to stay sane as possible and juggle every responsibility smoothly.
Apologies – done, now let’s move on to my post! Today’s topic – vinyl. I’m so obsessed with this trend right now that I even decided to write one of my end of term articles about it. BUT what I wanted to do for you here, is to write a little guide on HOW TO WEAR IT!
As you can see, I went a little crazy and definitely out of my comfort zone with this look. Vinyl skirt + fishnet tights + over the knee boots = really thin line between trashy (or too sexy) and classy. What I did is I took my, at the moment, favorite knitwear piece – V neck sweater to turn that vinyl down a little.
What else you can do with vinyl pants is to style it with an edgy aviator jacket (example here) or wear it with a fluffy teddy bear coat to get that contrast you need (example here).
Moreover, vinyl is really easy to style with bright colored accessories as this bag of mine from Bessie London. Because of their initial craziness, they go together perfectly.
To be completely honest with you, I’ve never been so crazy about any trend before. I always thought that there’s no point to buy those one-season pieces, because they will just die down and take space in your wardrobe later. But I have a different feeling about this one. Vinyl being so 80s, results in really good possibility to stay with us for more than one season, because this period always tends to find its way back to fashion.
Before I end this post, I want to shoutout the best London photographer ever: Zoe Griffin! Love to work with her so much, she makes it so easy, fun and most importantly really professional!

If you’re confused with the term “hairclubbing”, don’t worry I was at the same place too before I actually experienced it.
So you know how you go to a normal hair salon and spend there long two or more hours while watching yourself in the mirror and nearly falling asleep? Well, with Blade Hairclub you can forget about that. Here you will be welcomed by super friendly and professional staff who immediately will offer you to look through their menu with a huge variety of drinks. When you will finally pick your Espresso Martini or Honey Oat Milk Latte you will be seated and in front of you you’ll see an iPad that will be there to entertain you the whole time with Netflix and your favourite shows or films. If you don’t want to watch Netflix, that’s fine, you can just have an interesting chat with one of the hair stylists. Sounds super fun, right?
This beach wave style look on me was created by their talented hair stylist Diego. At first, I wasn’t so sure that it would suit me so well, but now I want my hair to look like that everyday.
I literally was amazed with everything about this place and the things that I’m writing here are 100% honest and true.
So if you’re looking for a new hair salon, Blade Hairclub in Soho is definitely worth to try!
And I’m writing again. Just to update you a little on how I’m doing, well, honestly, I’m doing really good. I’m finally kind of starting to get used to London’s craziness, rush hours and tons of people in the tube stopped bothering me that much, my relationship is great and making me happier ever day, I love my work in Karen Millen and I’ve just started my uni at London College of Fashion! Not to brag or anything, but things are finally settling down.
But most importantly, I finally have enough time for my blog, my Instagram, things that I love doing the most. And today I want to share with you one more #ootd look! That I think is my favourite of three that we shot with Zoe.
While planning this fall look, I had so many doubts it was driving me crazy. This look is just not what I typically would wear. You may have noticed that I’m more of a trousers type of girl, because I just feel comfortable and safe in them. However, this time I’ve decided to take some risks, and I think I got a pretty damn good result out of this. I mixed so many different textures. You can recognise leather, knitwear, plaid, pearl details, see through high heels and even socks underneath?!
But the thing that held my look together was the colour palette (see my post on connecting outfits). Some grey and some green/blue tones are all that you can find. So you see, you may go completely crazy with you outfit, but if there’s just one tiny thing that connects it, you can definitely pull it off!
Now, enjoy some pictures! Hope you liked this and see you soon!

Well hello, guys! I couldn’t be happier that I’m writing another blogpost in such a short period of time. Moments when you’re doing what you love the most are the best, aren’t they?
For this little article of mine, I just couldn’t think of what kind of helpful style advice I could give you, so let’s just focus on beautiful shots and quickly go through the outfit.
I don’t know what was your immediate thought when you saw what I’m wearing in the pictures, but mine is definitely “CHRISTMAS”. Just look at those velvet trousers! The colour is that perfect shade that can be seen everywhere during holiday season.
Since these trousers are the main focus of my look, I didn’t want to go more crazy with the fabrics, colours and stuff (see my last post on this topic) so I chose this super warm knitted jumper from this online shop I SAW IT FIRST. Due to the fact that it’s a cropped jumper, it eventually looks good with high wasted jeans/trousers. And it has this turtle neck thingy that makes you feel safe and sound during the whole day, so you can literally forget any kind of jacket of yours - this jumper will keep you warm throughout the whole thing!
I think, this will be it for now. Just enjoy these beautiful pictures by Zoe.
Ohmy hey guys! It’s been such a long time since I’ve posted. Sososooo sorry, but I’m working as much as I can before my uni starts and, as you understand, it just takes a loot of my time.
But I’m here with a new outfit post that I’m sooo excited to share with you! Mainly because of these amazing pictures that was taken by the cutest, nicest, most adorable person and photographer ever - Zoe Griffin! Check here Instagram here, she’s REALLY good, so make sure you press that follow button.
Okay now let’s move on to my post and my outfit. You know those moments when you have some really nice pieces of clothing and you want to wear them in one outfit, but you just don’t know how to make them all work? Read on, and hopefully you’ll get some useful advice!
When styling my outfits I have 3 criteria:
Colors. Just look through your items and search for some colourful dots that can be connected. If, for example, the base of your outfit is kind of monochrome, maybe there are some details that are bright coloured. What I did is I took this nice red lip print on my shirt and kind of connected it with my red earrings. And bam, separate pieces of clothing just became a team, hah.
Styles. Are your garments elegant? Or are they edgy? You can definitely mix these two styles, but make sure that they’re not left alone. Me, I took my distressed denim jeans and paired them with black leather boots. Separated, they’d look eh, but together they look amazing.
Textures & prints. This one for me personally is the most difficult. Since this outfit had kind of simple textures and prints (denim, leather, only my white shirt had this print, but it was taken car of by my earrings) my favourite fringed jacket just kind of put a finishing touch on it. On more different texture would have ruined everything, so just be careful while playing with them.
And this is it! Hope you found some helpful info and if you were wondering where my shirt is from, it’s from this online store ROMWE. Check it out!
See you very soon, since me and Zoe shot 2 more outfits. Stay tuned!
Ohmy I’ve missed blogging sooo much. I know I’ll sound cliche and everything but I’m still getting used to this crazy London life, where spending 4 hours a day in the tube and having no proper free time are considered normal things.
BUT, fortunately, this Saturday my boyfriend and I had a chance to go out and have fun, because I was invited to this cool event by European Bartender School. Hearing this name for the first time in your life, huh? This was my reaction too when they contacted me. Basically, it’s a private school for people who want to become professional bartenders. I was so surprised to learn that EBS is an international thing and so while you’re studying there you can travel and meet new people from all over the world. They also can provide you accommodation (super convenient, right?) and you can choose how long you want your course to be (4 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 days and etc.)
Snacks were super delicious too, as you can see
Soooo, what did we do at the event? We became bartenders for one night! To be honest, I wasn’t expecting that it’d be so much fun. They have super friendly and helpful staff and instructors, who taught us how to (correctly) make cocktails, how to measure the amount of ingredients you’re putting in, also how to do those cool tricks you see bartenders doing behind the bars (throwing bottles in the air and stuff) but I was much better at making cocktails so let's just stick with this, lol.
Mojito done by me. It does look super nice, I know
After full 4 hour course (that ended sooo quickly) we went to this place Jones Family Project and had the most delicious dinner ever (literally I’m writing this right now and my mouth is watering). Afterwards, all of the bloggers and EBS staff went to Oriole Bar, we had to leave since we both needed to work the other day (eh).
Just look at this stake ohmy
So as you can see, it was bloody amazing (omg I’m so British) and if you want more info about EBS and their courses click here!
Woaah, hello there! Time flies and here I am, writing this post from my super small room in London. I’d do a tour or something, but it’s literally just a room, with a bed, a wardrobe and a table. Not gonna lie, I’m not a fan of where me and my boyfriend are living now, but no one said that starting living in one of the most expensive cities in Europe is going to be easy, so no complaints here. At least, I’m where I want to be.
Good news, I can proudly say that I have my very first actual job as a shopping assistant! And guess where I’ll be working? In Karen Millen! I was so nervous all day waiting for that call, it was actually driving me crazy, but they called me and offered me a position! I’m so happy, I can’t find the right words to explain how I feel, so this post may sound a little bit cringy, lol. The thing is, I really do love this brand and I wasn’t even expecting to get an interview with them. But it seems like, they really liked me and I couldn’t be more excited about that.
I wasn’t planning this post to be an #ootd one, but still let’s just quickly scan what I was wearing on my very first evening in Central London (loved it, btw). I might start to sound very boring, but again I tried to look elegant with an edge. And thanks to this amazing Lithuanian brand Femini.lt I achieved what I wanted really easily with their Lia dress. By now you may look kind of confused, because I’m actually wearing it as a vest. Well, that’s the best thing about it - universality.
That’s it for now, and stay tuned because new posts from London are coming very soon (hopefully)!
Yoo, here I am with a good old #ootd post. First things first, shoutout to my fav photographer Aneta, who is a real pro at what she’s doing! Check her Instagram and Facebook and show some love!
So, what we’ll be talking about today? Colors. I have a post on how to wear colors, but this one will be different. I bet we all have that one shade, one color that just matches us, our skin, our shape and our personality. You may have expected that if the topic is colors, the one that Vytaute will choose is pink, right? Well, pink I love you, you will always have a special place in my heart, but you will have to share it with blue.
Because, you know, I had to learn how to wear pink. And with blue, the relationship was always there. It was natural.
So how to know that *insert any color* is YOURS?
1. Your eye color. I know, this is SO unexpected. But really, my blue/grey eyes are the reason why I barely wear green or orange, because it just looks kind of eh. Also, make sure that your color brings OUT your eyes and not overshadows them with its radiance.
2. Your skin. This is a vital factor while finding your color of clothes. Does your skin have a beautiful bronze glow or your skin is as delicate and thin as the one that China dolls have? For example, dusty pink, yellow, earth tones look really good on tanned skin, while blue, red, pink (even magneta) is great for the ones that have cool skin tones.
3. Your personality. Honestly, who cares about rules, trends and everything when you just feel that bright orange is your color and you feel like on top of the world in it? This is exactly how I feel, when I’m wearing blue. So, for me this phrase “I’m feeling blue” has a completely different meaning.
Now let’s briefly look into my outfit. As always, I tried to keep the balance between elegant and edgy. This beautiful blue top decorated with pearls and blue high heels worked together making me look more feminine, while ripped jeans and my all-time favorite fringed jacket gave an edge that this outfit needed to survive the jungle that is called street style.
This is it from me and next post is going to be from London, my new home! One word – EXCITEMENT!
See you soon!
xo,

looks like I’m having fun in this picture, but actually I was testing the strength of my abs lol
Don’t you just love these moments when you drink coffee in the morning or brush your teeth and this instant rush of inspiration hits you and you’re like “I’m going to do something I enjoy today”. So yeah, this exact thing happened to me too and I’ve realized how much I’ve been missing writing this kind of posts. Researching, looking through pictures of the newest collections, making notes, noticing details and thinking how to put everything in words. I love it. And I hope that you’re going to love reading my thoughts on 3 Autumn/Winter 2017 Couture collections!
1. Christian Dior
I remember I read an interview where the creative director of Christian Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri, stated that one of her aims is to make couture that is wearable. Well, she is making sure to fulfill her promise. With every collection, I’m amazed how real her garments are, though of course in any way one could take her creations as something less than couture.
AW17 Couture was inspired by the desire of world travel, reaching out and addressing women from all over the world. And, honestly, even prior to my research, first thoughts when I saw this collection were about Egypt some why (strange since it’s AW and not SS). I imagined all of the models travelling through desert in Dior AW17 Couture collection while unbearable heat and poignant sun cut through delicate cashmere suits.
One thing that made this a collection was the tiny fall down belt that varied from black to brown and even silver throughout the show. It can be seen on every single look of this collection (except on some evening gowns) and you may say that it kind of contradicts the idea of world travel (because who would restrict themselves with a belt while travelling, right?), but without it, it wouldn’t be Dior. House Dior is all about femininity and graceful figure of the woman, thus these belts gave exactly it.
Color palette was again very feminine and romantic. Nothing eccentric or provocative. Just as the evening gowns with their tulle, silk and embroidered capes roaming down the runaway.
Trends to remember: belts (a lot of them actually) and grayish tones (the exact opposite of this summer with all of its tones of pink yellow and red).
2. Azzedine Alaia
The main reason I’ve decided to look into this collection was because Azzedine Alaia’s last couture collection was displayed in 2011, so it was really tempting to see what this talented couturier prepared after such a long break.
And well, wow. If I could, I’d buy this entire collection, because it doesn’t look trendy, you know what I mean? Trends are cool but they come and go and if to invest in a designer piece, one should only think about timeless pieces. And, in my opinion, this collection is full of them. Pleated leather skirts, cropped jackets, military type of coats accompanied by midi belts that give just enough elegance and leave space for something unexpected like over the knee boots with leopard print.
Trends to remember: belts (again), cropped jackets, leather, duet of red&black.
3. Fendi
If Maria Grazia Chiuri and Azzedine Alaia did not give us much color this season, Karl Lagerfeld with Fendi tried to make our autumn as colorful as possible. And it wasn’t just color palette that caught my eye. The variety of fabrics and different prints reminded that Fendi is an Italian brand. And this is exactly what makes Karl Lagerfeld unique. He never forgets what kind of fashion house he is representing and makes sure that it would be visible in his creations on the runaway.
If I could pick one word to describe this collection, it’d definitely be “flowers”. They literally could be seen on almost every look, but it did not make the clothes less couture, if I may say. On the contrary, even with such colorful approach Lagerfeld managed to stay on the couture side avoiding being left misunderstood.
The figure of the clothes took more of a reversed tulip form and it reminded me of Chanel SS17 Haute Couture collection. No doubts, fur wasn’t forgotten since it kind of becomes the key feature of house Fendi.
Trends to remember: flower print (but be careful with it. If Karl Lagerfeld can pull it off, doesn’t mean everyone can)
So, I guess that’s it from me. Only three collections, because these are the ones I actually like. If you want to search and find your own favorites, go here and explore!
See you soon (big changes coming in my life, cannot be more excited)!

ARTDECO SS17 COLLECTION REVIEW OR SUMMER MAKE UP ESSENTIALS
You know you’re doing something right when your favourite make up brand contacts you. Literally, my first ever make up product when I was 14 and I’ve entered the world of make up was from ARTDECO, so yeah you can call me happy, that’d be the right definition.
Now about the make up. ARTDECO sent me some of their products from their new SS17 collection and I think that they are perfect for summer. They are light, pink and blushy. What else could you want from summer make up essentials?
ARTDECO Bronzing Blusher
It’s a bronzer. No, it’s a blusher. No, it’s a bronzing blusher. Hands down, my favourite product that I thought at first I wouldn’t like, because it seemed too pink and I assumed that it’d look super unnatural on my cheeks. On the contrary, this product literally kisses your cheeks like sun does. And if your summer is Lithuanian kind when you rarely even see sun, this bronzing blusher will be the #1 in your make up bag!
ARTDECO Mat Lip Powder ( 25 lovely blossom)
Powder for your lips? Say no more, ARTDECO made it happen. And, well, I’m really impressed. My initial reaction was kind of eh, because before I’ve tried it on my lips, I did a swatch on my palm and the colour was so blurry I was sure that it would be invisible on my lips. I was wrong, of course. The colour just kind of popped the moment I did a few pumps and I literally had to stop because it was getting to bright and pink for me. This product has a great variety of colours, so if pink is not your first choice, you will be able to choose something else!
ARTDECO Brow Duo (28 golden taupe)
The moment I saw the colour of this product, I knew it wasn’t for me. My eyebrows have a very dark colour and are strongly defined, so I rarely use any make up on them. But this Brow Duo was perfect for my mom, who is blonde and, well, according to her she loved this product, because it’s super easy to use and it stays on your eyebrows the whole day!
This is it from me now, hope you liked it and if you want to get more info about the products click here or visit ARTDECO Lithuania Instagram page!
See you soon!

FYI, the brand did not impose any requirements on how should I do or what should I write in this post. Everything you read is my own honest opinion.
