Eva's Diary - The Beach & Alex
It was sunny when I woke up this morning; I could barely concentrate on anything but meeting Alex at the beach today. After breakfast I went to my study and collected my materials, I wanted to bring my easel along but my parents said it would be too difficult, what do they know? Anyway I brought a satchel of my things and a folder of paper with me, I wrapped my paint box with a piece of cloth that looked really nice, it had like a floral pattern on it and felt really soft.
I left my house and proceeded down the street to the bus stop, Alex would have gotten a lift to the beach from his parents, they didn’t like me much. I met Alex’s parents about a week ago, they told me that I wasn’t good enough for some reason, that if my only ambition in life was to paint, I’d never make a good living. I swore at his parents that night, and I’m pretty sure they remembered it rather well if I’m honest. Alex didn’t care though, he had to escort me home immediately of course, but he didn’t seem to mind at all, he would do anything for me.
The bus arrived and the driver greeted me as usual, always with “’Sup there Eva!” or “Good day Miss!” or something cheesy, he made me laugh though and he seemed really friendly to me. I hopped on and paid the full fare, despite him offering me a discount I made sure he took the full sum, he was honestly too nice to me. Afterwards I spent a good hour watching out of the window with my music on, I chose classical for the trip because it always makes me happy inside, I listened to a cover that Alex had recorded for me last Tuesday. Watching the environment pass my window made me feel so at ease, the beautiful scenery and the magnificent hillsides that filled the landscape inspired me to paint them, but I only had enough paint with me for one sitting unfortunately so I couldn’t.
When I got to the beach there were barely any cars in the car park nearby, Alex said it would be quiet today anyway so that was good. I noticed him waving his arm from a hill not far away, I smiled and waved back at him before I tried to run over, he gestured for me to stop and he then climbed down. I was greeted with a long hug from him; we probably shouldn’t have hugged for so long because we literally saw each other yesterday so it was a bit weird, nevertheless it was nice. When we made it to the beach, it was completely empty, Alex chose to lie down on the sand and let the tide gently push his feet, I took off my shoes and did the same. I think we laid there for maybe two hours, I don’t know but I think we fell asleep because when I opened my eyes the water was almost reaching my ears, we laughed about that for ages, Alex had like some seaweed in his hair and we took a photo together. He was seaweed hair and I was apparently cuttlefish face. It was great.
I eventually pulled out my stuff and told him to pose, Alex suggested that I paint him with the seaweed on his hair but I politely told him he was an idiot. We were there for more than five hours in total; he stayed completely still, smiling at me for so long. It made me so happy that’d he’d done that for me. The constant game of smiling tennis we played with each other during that time was so great; I had the best smile of course though, so I obviously won at it. Fifteen-love my love I shouted at him. I’m not sure if I love him, I mean I haven’t been with him for very long but I think I have some connection with him, I think I like him a lot though.
Eventually I had finished and had to see him off as he got driven home by his parents, not even bothering to consider giving me a lift home. It was okay in the end; I bought a return ticket from the bus driver when I anticipated that I would not get driven back by his dumb parents. Today was just perfect regardless of that though; I will never forget today I swear! Well best go to bed now anyway, I have school in the morning so I need my sleep, Eva out!

DOB: 24/12
Gender: Female
Nationality: British
Height: 5’3”
Picture:
Class and specialization: 2-A with specialization in Art. More specifically pencil work and drawing.
Personality: Eva is essentially a quiet girl who takes care not to interfere with other people, she tends to isolate herself and listen to music when she is in  a public environment. When social situations are not avoidable, Eva uses extremely weak conversational topics and tends to avoid eye contact, this makes her appear to be shy, however it is merely because talking is not something she enjoys. Because of this, Eva lacks strong friendships with people.Â
Eva has no methods of venting her feelings through communication, so Art is her way of portraying her feelings without confrontation of others. She is extremely talented in Art but lacks any skill in other subjects.
Background: Eva isn't originally from Japan, she was sent over after she was removed from her school in England for poor grades, her parents decided a change of scenery would be a good idea and made her enrol at Souzou academy in Japan.Â
Likes: Art, Music, Quietness, Nature and Isolation
Dislikes: Conversations, Eye contact, Loud people, Pressure and Other subjects that aren't Art.
