“It’s been a lot of fun. A lot of fun listening to Alan Rickman. I mean... The guy... When he talks... You’re just - you’re mesmerised!”

The Alan Rickman photograph was originally shared/researched by@rickmanticx(Instagram) The archival/research image on the right comes from Build Your Archive.(link) Full credits are provided because sources matter. ❤️
A small note about giving credit where it's due.
Recently, I shared a post about Alan Rickman's participation at the ASRADA (American Supporters of RADA) Fundraiser on January 30, 2011.
The photographs and the accompanying information were originally researched and shared by instagram user @rickmanticx , and I made sure to credit the original source when I shared them.
However I noticed that one of those photographs — together with the accompanying information — had been reposted elsewhere without any acknowledgment of the original source.
Sadly, this is not the first time I have come across similar situations on platforms such as Facebook, where material originally shared by fan accounts, researchers or archive pages is reposted while the original credits are removed.
This is not about claiming ownership of photographs or information. It is about respecting the time, effort and dedication behind this kind of work.
Many people in this fandom spend hours searching, identifying images, verifying dates, reconstructing events and preserving memories from Alan Rickman's career. Their contribution deserves to be acknowledged whenever their work is shared.
Sources matter. Research matters. The people behind that research matter.
If we share material that someone else has carefully researched and documented, let's make sure their work remains visible and credited.
Finally, I would like to thank all the fan accounts, researchers and archive pages who continue to dedicate their time and passion to preserving and sharing pieces of Alan Rickman's history.
Your work, often done quietly and with great care, allows the whole fandom to discover, remember and appreciate these moments. Thank you for everything you do. ❤️
