Just a heads up
I am on vacation starting tomorrow and ending August 5th.
Sorry for the slow activity. Hoping to get back into the swing of things when Iâm back!
My goal today is to do at least one reply to a thread and to do either another archery post or start the gender study in the LOTR trilogy.
Any preferences on which one I start? You have until I actually have time to sit and do writing to vote lol
Not liking my writing currently but Iâm on mobile if anyone would like to plot or just hang!
Imagine: Arwen and her brothers make a game out of "let's see how much of a heart attack we can give ada". Elrond takes it in stride and eventually comes to enjoy it in a way. It tapers off as they get older but when their mother is captured and later sails it stops abruptly. All four, in a way, miss it but it just brings to mind wounds that will never quite heal.
YES.
But then it comes back innnn our modern verse! Letâs thread this, please. Maybe itâs when Arwen first dyes her hair. And gets a tat. Mwahahaha~
He had an extremely small amount of men, only 5 (himself making 6). It was enough of his men to keep themselves safe on the journey. Getting to Rivendell from Halda Isil was a bit of a long one, but it would be worth it. King Rivallion had had many correspondence with Lord Elrond recently. This was a mission of good will, to meet with other nations and to become friends. Olorion preferred those missions over ones of violence.
Oloâs horse was the largest out of the group. A huge white mare with a single black spot over one eye. ( A bit ironic considering her rider. ) Her ankles and hooves were covered with long hair, and her tail and mane were brushed and braided. She was well taken care of, and was even more so in the event of this mission.
As they entered, Olo made sure his hood covered his face. He didnât want his face seen, not unless it was an absolute must.
His men marveled a bit at their surroundings. It was definitely different from Halda. It was far more lovely in some aspects. Olo was still partial to his own home, however. They neared the Lady and her company, and Olo was the first to dismount. He bowed deeply, his tall form nearly bent in half. Once he straightened back up, he raised a hand, his men dismounting from their horses to stand behind their Captain. Â
âI am Olorion, Captain and Ambassador of Halda Isil.        It is a pleasure to be welcomed here, and to be allowed        to meet you.â
His hood stayed up, but his mensâ were off by now. They preferred to have their hoods down, Olo did not.
He expected to meet the Lord, but he assumed that he had other business. That was fine. It wasnât like it was an absolute must, so long as they were greeted.
âAnd I am Arwen UndĂłmiel. It is my pleasure to greet you and to welcome you to Rivendell.â Arwen returned, with an elegant curtsy. Whether she found it odd that he kept his hood up when his men did not, she did not say. âMy lord father is currently occupied by an urgent case, a patient came in unexpectedly and it is only Lord Elrond who has the skill to heal him. But come, the table is set and stables have been cleared for your mounts.â
Arwen steps back, and allows the two elves with her to take the lead in guiding their guests to the stables. It is not long before she is standing by the side of Olorion.
âI do not believe this darkness will endure.â - from my Snow White, whom I just decided about 2 minutes ago is a hobbit in Middle Earth
âNor, do I.â Arwen replies softly. âBut I cannot see when the end may come, for it is still dark yet.â
Online and gonna try to do some replies! If I feel like my writing quality is horrible though it wonât happen so. . . . One of those days, Iâm afraid.
I know I have inbox stuff.
If any of you have been waiting for a starter from me please let me know because itâs probably been swallowed by the abyss and will not return. . . .
