YoRHa Girl Stage Play 1.2 Previews
In distant future, earth were invaded by Machine Lifeforms and the surviving humans escaped to the moon. While humans’ last defense base orbited at the moon, androids are fighting the invaders to reclaim the earth for mankind. The experimental unit YoRHa that received an unexpected attack in the 14th descent operation were completely annihilated and leaving only four aircraft. However, the remained YoRHa who joined the Resistance forces continued fights the Mechanical Lifeforms while looking at the harsh fate of the headquarters.
The story were mostly inspired from the NieR Automata main game and NieR Automata short story. Yui Ishikawa who voiced 2B in the game is back to perform as No.2. This time her role is more similar to A2. Some other characters also make an appearance including Anemone the Resistance Leader and the Red Girls who give an outstanding psychological conspiracy performance.
Besides showing the Drama on the stage play, the casts also did singing and dancing performances. NieR Automata music team such as Emi Evans, Marina Kawano, and Takanori Goto (guitarist) is also performed on the stage. Besides NieR Automata OST, they performed NieR Replicant and Drakengard 3 OST. The music were combined beautifully with the drama scenes. You can hear some arrangement from Drakengard 3 boss battle themes on the stage play while some battle event going on.
