Update
So, I'm possibly revamping this story after its been dead for around 2ish years. Its still the same angel people idea but its taking on a more Maximum Ride vibe than biblical.

Those words are meant to be a reminder for the angels. That the path to disobedience is easy, that only a few off steps can create a larger problem that leads to the fall from grace, to being rejected from the heavenly host. It serves as a heavy reminder not to become like their lost brother, Lucifer, to not become a Fallen.
Answer all these questions and you should have a fully-developed character for your audience to connect with. A strong character can carry a weak plot; but a strong plot can’t carry weak characters

"Even lovers fall Gabriel." Jack's usually soft voice had taken a hard edge, something Gabriel had never expected to hear from his partner. Jack wasn't usually the one that had the cold soul, that was Gabriel but even he knew their fall from Grace would change even the sweetest of souls, even change the dorky sweet soul of his partner. Jack must have noticed the storm clouds roll across his vision, he reached out his hand and gently cupped it across Gabriel's face, rubbing his thumb across his defined jaw, "Gab..." the nickname holding none of the hard edge as it had before. Jack hold his ice blue eyes to Gabriel's golden ones, seeing all the pain he knew the other was feeling bubbling to the surface, golden eyes clouded with emotion, he knew this would happen, he knew they'd be cast down, he just never expected for him to feel like this. Jack could tell that this was hard for Gabriel, he knew it would kill both of them but he didn't expect for his partner to openly be upset, for all the time he had known the cocky angel he rarely showed how he felt, his usually wide spread wings were tucked close to his body, the cuts on his arms weren't healing as well as they have done before, his hair was stuck to his face, he looked as bad as he knew they both felt but Jack couldn't have been one to talk, he knew he looked a mess too. He pulled his hands from around Gabriel's face and used them to push himself off the ground, wincing slightly as his body screamed in protest, every nerve ending telling him not to move but he didn't listen, he never did, that was something that rubbed off on him from Gabriel. Each step to the other angel was painful but he knew he had to get closer to him, try and protect him like the other always did for him. He finally made it to the other, a slight lightheaded feeling coming over him. He moved to kneel on from of the other, moving his wings out to their full span, the once snow white feathers now dirty and dingy, each white feather hung down with dirt. The angel of lightening reach out and wrapped them around Gabriel, pressing them together, holding the two boys together, pressing every part of them into one space. They both felt the same pain but for once it wasn't Jack who was crying, for once it was the unmovable mountain that was Gabriel. Once he felt the other angels wings wrap around his back he pressed his face into Jack's neck and tried to bite back a sob, he clenched his hands in the material of the other's jacket and cried openly and without embarrassment. He knew the other wouldn't call him out on anything, not even the way his tears soaked completely through the thick material of his jacket. Jack placed his shaking hands on the other's back, pressing them into his shirt, and murmured one simple phrase.
"We may have fallen, but we've fallen together and that won't change."
Finally, the day had come. Today was the same as any different day, the same blue sky over-head, the same ground under their feet as it always had been, nothing had changed but something would, something drastic. Today was the day that both boys had knew would be coming. Neither boy had had much contact with the other since they had been taken, it wasn't unusual either, they were close in age but their elements were different so usually they didn't meet. The way Heaven was sanctioned, they were separated but both Gabriel and Jack knew each other, if their names were spoken to the other they both could clearly see the other in their minds.
Even separated but the way the buildings were they both spent extra time preparing for today, this was the day that they would get their partner assignments. Little did they know that in a few hours they would be partners with each other. It would defiantly be the last person that Gabriel would expect to be partnered with. The dark haired angel was walking down the long path leading to the meeting room, a large building that loomed over head anywhere that you traveled. It was built of thick brick, the color of rust, towering up, piercing the sky. The steeple almost pressing against the sun, the side were covered with growing ivy, twisting across the bricks, spilling across the surface, almost overtaking the building. He strode across the courtyard, angels mingling by the fountain The large structure that adorned the front courtyard, taking up most of the green space, tangles of roses and other flowers flowed around the base of the marble fountain the top adorned with the angels that help fight against the uprising of Lucifer. Each angel was placed back to back in the center of circle, the water around their feet, each angel held a different expression, each a different emotion and under them across the bottom was a motto everyone held close to their hearts, "Lapsum Est Semper Facile." meaning the fall is always easy. It meant that the fall to become a Fallen, a forsaken angel, a fallen angel thrown from Heaven and cast down to Earth or even Hell.
Gabriel moved away from the fountain with one last glance at his fellow angels before walking through the main doors, as he walked in all that could be heard was various angels in the entryway speaking softly to each other each language could be heard, small snippets of old Latin of the old days to soft choruses of Welsh, to the sharp tones of the various languages from Asia. He strode down the hallway that lead to the room he needed where he didn't know who he'd find. He kept the same posture he always did, some showing off the same attitude that he always did, head held high, strong jaw clenched, shoulders back with his wings slightly unfurled as not to slam them into anything, usually he keeps them greatly unfurled, all fourteen feet the ink black feathers spread wide. But now they were held close, just brushing out to around to a few feet out around him. As he came close to the room he wanted, the dark rose wood of the door almost glowing out to him, the room number shown bright against the dark wood, a thick brass template against the top of the door. Gabriel pushed his dark hair from his eyes, golden eyes luminous as every thought he could think passed through his head. He smirked, "Now or Never." He thought and placed both palms flat against the door, pushing into the wood, flinging both doors open, striding in, the same air that always went around high, his wings spreading out larger, trying to puff himself out larger.
He smirk at the reaction he got, a flustered sound of papers rustling as the doors smacked against the wall, the soft blue paint almost looking at Gabriel in spite. He smirked to Trinity, one of God's servants and angels he held close to his heart, she was kind but held this rebellious streak almost as strong in her as it was in Gabriel. Yes, he loved what he was, why he was chosen and how he came here but there was always a part of him that looked for a different place, a different time and a different way to do things, but for now...he would stay here.
He smirked over to Trinity and sat down at the couch across from her desk, the brow leather worn and tender, pitch marks dotted along the worn material from years of use. He splayed out across the seat, legs spread apart, wings almost completely unfurled across the back and arms spread across the back. He looked over to Trinity for one of the first times since he walked in, she was dressed as always. Her long back skirt gathered at her ankles, short boots tight across her feet, and above a tight baby blue corset like top encircled her middle, dropping low and cutting in a beautiful way to accent her figure. On both her wrists, she had the Trinity symbols across her wrists, her namesake but almost a tie to her Religion. She glared over her glasses, sharp brown hair poking out every which way. "Gabriel..." She said in a warning tone, staring over at the other angel across the desk, she regarded him with cool amber eyes, a few shades lighter than her wings, which were tucked close against her body.
"Yes, lovely?" He smirked, he always tended to flirt shamelessly with all the female angels, especially Trinity, she never returned any of his advances and that was fine with him.
"Stop being such an ass Gabriel. Today is an important day and I don't want you messing it up and ending up ruining something." She said in a clipped tone, her eyes glancing at the door and back to the golden eyes angel, "Where was Jack?" She kept thinking over and over. All Gabriel gave her was a smirk in reply.
Thick boots slammed down the hallway as the two bickered back and forth, huffs and puffs of hard breath could be heard as Jack ran down the hallway, sliding down all the sharp turns and finally he slid into the right way, slamming hard against the door, almost falling into the room. Suddenly as Jack righted himself, two sets of eyes were glued to his smaller frame. A pair of amber eyes glued to him and hard like shards, while golden eyes went up and down his form, slinking over every inch of his body, taking in everything from the dark boots to the bright blond hair gently spiked out and finally he rested on the ice blue of Jack's eyes. Gold holding close to blue. Gabriel smirked, "I like him already."

The End.
Character Bios- Jack
Gabriel's partner, angels are assigned partners when they come of age, these angels are close, they are tied together by something stronger than mere friendship, their bond is stronger than that. And this bond is permanent, the two angels separably can not change this bond, they are stuck with it, they either get along or the consequences are harsh.
Name: Jack (Angel of Lightening)
Hair color: Blond
Eye color: Ice blue (almost like the color of the accents on my blog)
Wing span: 12 feet. Even though Jack's aren't as large as Gabriel they can give off the impression of being imposing but Jack usually keeps the pressed tightly close to his body, he doesn't like to let them out too far where as Gabriel is almost the exact opposite, always having them out far around his body. The color of Jack's wings are the exact opposite of what color Gabriel's are. Jack's are the whitest of white, always compared to by other angels to the color of new fallen snow and in the right light have the slightest of blue hue to the undertone.
Birthday. April 3rd. Jack's mother was a little less forgiving to let him leave when he was of age, she had grown very close to her sweet boy. But she knew that it was what was needed. And even though it is against the law to go an visit the mothers that had them Jack goes and visits his every time he can, when he knows she'll want to see him, especially on the day he was taken. Jack is 17 years of age.
Height and Build: Jack stands 5'8 to Gabriel's 6'3. This is something Gabriel uses as ammunition when he feels the need to pick a little at Jack's personality. Always poking fun at his height, much to the bane of Jack. His build is close to Gabriel's but in a slightly different way. He has the same muscle that Gabriel has but he has it more wiry muscle, thin cords of muscle instead of Gabriel's thick muscle His is just as string as his partner but it isn't as showy as it is on Gabriel.
Personality wise he and Gabriel couldn't be more different. Where Gabriel can be hard and cold, Jack is the fire that can melt the ice inside his heart and bring down the walls that keep his heart covered. Jack is the person that Gabriel meets that he never knew would change him, but he does. He fixes all the little cracks and makes him whole again but before they can fix each other, Jack has cracks too, he just keeps them hidden, sweetness trying to fill the cracks but he can't fix them himself. He needs someone else, they need each other, perfect opposites that can fix each other.
Jack's mark of his element is a small lightening bolt tattooed on the back on his neck just under his hairline. Jack has a small cross tattoo on the inside of his wrist, it wraps like a band around his entire wrist.
it sounds amazing <3
Thank you!!! <3
Character Bios- Gabriel
He was the first one I planned out. I've been working with him a lot. He'll be the one you expect the least from but get the most out of.
Name: Gabriel (Angel of Thunder)
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Golden
Since there angels, with wings and everything, wing span is important, their wings give off their strength and if big enough can give off an intimidating feeling. Gabriel's wing span is around 14 feet, tip to tip. His wings are the darkest shade of black you can imagine, darker than the night sky, but within them there are sight swirls of blues and purples like oil.
Each angel is technically born but not in the way one would expect, they are born of a women but not of a male, they are a soul placed within a vessel and that vessel is born and at a certain age they are called up to Heaven. The women who are placed with these babies know what to expect but it doesn't get any easier as it goes on but they do know what they are doing and except it as something special to them And the date they are taken up into Heaven is their birthday. Gabriel's is September 21st.
But their age is something different, their age is taken from when they are born but before they are taken. Gabriel is 18 years of age.
Height and build: Gabriel stands fully at 6'3. He is of stockier build, with a heavy amount of muscle, thicker around his chest and upper arms.
Personality wise Gabriel is usually...dark. He has his moments but usually he's dark, silent, with a cocky stripe. He has an ego but he does mean well. He can come off as heartless...cold but he can been redeemed if you look hard enough. He's the boy you'll expect the least out of but you'll get the most out of him, you just have to wait.
He's the dark and brooding type, always seeming to have a storm could over his heart, dark walls covering something soft and gentle beneath, but he seldom shows that, almost never to anyone. He's the one the women swoon over but he could care less, things like that, things like that never mattered him but tall of that will change in an instant when he meets someone he thought would never change him.
Each angel is marked with the symbol of their element, Gabriel has a small thundercloud tattooed onto the inner part of his wrist. He also has a large black cross tattooed across his chest on his ribs on the right side, taking up most of his chest.
Hey! Your story sounds like it'll be a good one! =)
Really? You think so?
Slightly longer summary of my story.
Follows a story of two angels in Heaven, Hell and everything in between. Gabriel, the angel of thunder and Jack, the angel of Lighting, it revolves around their journey together as partners to fight for Heaven and deal with them struggling with the changes the other brings to themselves and how their changes are affecting them and how Heaven is changing. But they become forsaken, fallens against Heaven and start the longest fight of their lives against not only other angels but against a greater force, a evil and darker force that wants to take over Jack and Gabriel as well as the rest of Heaven.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
What makes me feel better is reading a good book.
