notes written out here: -red stained streaks in hair due to running hands through hair when working w/ redstone

-blue orchid in hairtie from bdubs' moss stall

-headband for keeping loose hair (mostly) out of face when working

-mask and gloves for protection when working w/ redstone and machinery (not up to standard for full long term exposure protection, but provides a base level of immediate surface level protection)

-ear piece connected to self made radio in inner pocket of shirt (ingame comms)

-old coat, patched and fixes up w/ scrap fabric and moss from over the years. lined w/ fur for warmth

-scrap fabric from bdubs cloak, used as a rag to wipe hands of redstone dust/grime

-hands scarred at varying recovery stages due to redstone burns

- hands slightly shake

-potions tied to side w/ rope leads for easy access

-diamond boots

-years of redstone exposure and experimentation prior to full understanding among communities of its health effects and what it could do have led to various illnesses and injuries over time. due to ethos constant exposure through breathing the dust in as well as touching it, using it in varying mixtures and chemical reactions with other materials, and being plainly human (rather than a part of particular hybrid groups or carrying certain genetic traits that would provide with a higher base level of immunity), his scarring over time has resulted in appearing/being more 'extreme' than some of his redstone engineering peers

-his vision and hearing are slightly altered, and vocal cords are somewhat strained. most of the facial scarring was a result of a bad bout of illness caused by redstone entering the bloodstream via an open cut on the cheek, causing infection and burns. redstone buildup around orifices such as the nostrils or ear canals also led to irritation over time before etho began using a mask and ear pieces

Gem: I did see my favorite hate comment ever today though? I-I think it might be my fav-my favorite hate comment. And--it-it was that I'm turning Hermitcraft gay. (she laughs) It-it gave me a-a very good laugh. It--they, they meant it as hate, so genuinely, but I did not take it that way.

Gem: Like--(giggling) I. Find myself in situations so frequently, where the men are roleplaying kissing each other, and if I could stop them, I would, okay. I would be more homophobic, I would stop them! I can't! They keep going, I (through laughter) I don't know what it is.

Gem: But it's not me, it's-it's th--nobody's holding a knife to them right now and making them do that. (laughs)

Gem: They're just like it. I don't-it's not me. (laughs) God, it was one of my favorite comments I've gotten. I-I immediately sent it to Grian. (laughs)

Gem: (eight seconds of silence) I'll take credit, if I-if somebody has to take credit, I can. (laughs) But I don't think, I don't think it's me. (five seconds of silence, then, laughter) Entry (? she says a Twitch chatter's name here) thank you for the twenty-three months, I haven't, but I'll look into it. Gem: I should read that, I have heard a lot about it. (six seconds of silence, then reading a comment) "It's not you." Yeah, I don't think it's me, unfor-the men are just like that. They-they're-they-they're like it. Already. I don't know. They-they came like it. I didn't--it wasn't season eight that that started.

A lipsync animation I started at the beginning of the season and just got around to finishing! I’m pretty out of practice when it comes to 2D animation (I usually do 3D) but I thought it would be fun to get back into the swing of things by animating to some hermit clips :D
