Acabei de criar esse pôster para os protestos do dia internacional da mulher de hoje. Me inspirei no coletivo das mulheres de Chicago, dos anos 70, que usavam traços irregulares e bem livres nas ilustrações. Inspirado nisso fiz uma ilustração com meus próprios traços irregulares. O uso de cores análogas/complementares/psicodélicas junto com fontes meio hippies/psicodélicas dão um tom subversivo e feminino ao mesmo tempo. Também amo fazer flores e plantas num tema meio psicodélico, o que acaba em algo meio tropicalista. É a quarta onda do feminismo agora, que apesar de ainda ter muito a fazer, já conquistou o mundo e a mente das pessoas, e poderíamos dizer que já está em plena primavera! ... Just created this poster for the #8m . Inspired by the Chicago women’s graphic collective, from the seventies. They used irregular hand draw illustrations which is the kind of illustration I identify the most, with psychedelic/complementary/analogous colors and some kind of hippie/psychedelic lettering, which makes it look so feminine and subversive. I also love mixing plants and flowers with a psychedelic theme, which ends in a kind of tropicalist thing. It is the fourth wave of feminism now, and as it conquered the world, we could say it is in full bloom.
