I adore their clowns so for my rant I will be using a different prop. People often bring up the differences between the flesh eating zombies as an excuse or reasoning for the slop title but if you knew anything about spirit you'd know thats a ridiculous assumption.

The original flesh eating zombie looks better sure but the bitch is built like a damn dinosaur and broke constantly, I have not seen one to survive the test of time. Every single one to not be trashed either doesnt work or has extreme latex rotting issues which make it useless because who is putting a rotting prop up around children?? Its a biohazard. His sensor was based on light and hardly triggers, his voice box was tiny and you can't hear him for shit and worst of all his motor is ridiculously placed and exploded more often than not.
The 2020 Zombie fixes all of those issues and added mouth movement. At the time I HATED the remake due to how different he looked but 6 years on I can see the positives outweigh the mess that was going on in the first rendition. Its super easy to paint over him anyways so anyone with an actual problem with the facejob could fix that with no issue. We are so blinded by nostalgia ✌🏻
Anyone who believes SVI is a slop company is just loud and wrong.
