Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

I watched the newest Star Wars recently releases. I know I am behind since it came out around Christmas.

Overall I liked the movie. There were some moments that I felt were more dramatic than needed to be. I did not like the part where Finn said I need to tell you something. Then the movie makers drug that out through the movie even though we know what he was going to say.

I would still recommend watching it. Lots of action & had moments that punched you in the feels.

Tik Tok

And now I am obsessed with watching tik toks. I cannot stop watching them. Of course I really like the comedy ones.

Please send help. All the songs are stuck in my head. I have a problem.

Tiger King

I watched the series Tiger King on Netflix recently. Needless to say I had the confused look a lot. It is the look of this cannot be real.

Also I am surprised with all the stuff that everyone on the show got away with that was illegal.

Last note Carole definitely killed her husband and fed it to the tigers. Prove me wrong.

I would recommend watching this show. Especially when there is nothing else to do during this quarantine.

Microwave

So I was just sitting in the living room in our apartment when all of a sudden the microwave turns on randomly. It ran for a few seconds then started beeping. The microwave red “keypad sensor error. May need service.” The microwave keep doing this a couple of times.

We had to turn the power off to it so it would stop. Needless to stay it is not being used for awhile until it can be fixed.

Carpet Shampooer

Today my boyfriend & I bought a carpet shampooer. We did this to help reduce the fleas we have coming in from the yard. We were both excited about it. At one point we ended up “fighting” to use it.

This is what getting older has turned into.

Frozen 2

Frozen 2 was a decent movie. I really liked the graphics but the songs were lack luster. The story line was okay. It is hard to top a movie as good as the first one though.

Tall and Sunroof

Whenever I wear a bun on top of my head and ride in my car, I have to open the slider for the sun roof so I can fit.

Stay Home

People need to stay home and quarantine. I need people to stay at home because I cannot. Every week I go to work to take care of sick people. Yes, I chose this job but I need everyone to stay home so I can do mine.

I need people to stay home so life can return to normal.

I need people to stay home so I can see my 65+ year old parents who I have not seen since February.

I need people to stay home so I can go see my papaw who has Alzheimer’s and health is declining.

I need people to stay home to protect themselves.

I need people to stay home so the healthcare system is not overwhelmed.

Please stay home.

COVID-19

This virus can be scary for many reasons. In the US it is concerning because hospitals and other healthcare places do not have enough supplies to properly take care of all the people who could be affected.

Another reason that this virus is concerning is because it can be spread so easily.

This is why people need to take this quarantine seriously. If you are able to stay at home, do so. If you have to go out, stay 6 feet away from people. Do not get together with people just to hang out. Do not help spread this virus. Stay home for the healthcare, emergency personal, and others you cannot.

Apartment Life

Apartment life is weird. Sometimes I’ll be using the bathroom then randomly hear my neighbors talking. It throws me off because I think I’m hearing things.

Light Up Shoes

Me: Imma get light up shoes for my friend’s wedding.

Boyfriend: Why do you want light up shoes?! Are you 5?!

Me: No, I always wanted some though. I never had any.

Boyfriend: Like I said are you 5?

*shows light up shoes*

Boyfriend: Oh those are actually cool looking.

Me: See!

Kitten + YouTube

Cuddling with my kitten while watching YouTube videos or playing on my electric device sounds sweet at first. It is not sweet when he tries to bite the screen multiple times.

He tries to attack whatever is on the screen regardless of what it is. Maybe one day he will learn.

DIY Apartment

There is a part in my apartment where my kitten tore up some of the carpet near a door. Also part of the tile has chipped away.

So today I got out my hot glue gun and repaired the area the best I could. I cut away all the extra strings of carpet then glued down the remaining pieces. When I pulled the tile piece up, I realized it was not glued down very well. So far the hot glue is holding everything pretty well.

Who knew you could DIY carpet and tile with a hot glue gun?! Well now you know you can do small projects. Better than paying an outrageous bill after leaving.

Hunger

I wish my body would make me feel hunger when I need to eat. Instead my body just makes me feel weak and dizzy.

It can be confusing because I try to figure out if I need water, had too much caffeine, have allergy issues, or need food. I usually end up treating one at a time until I figure out what I need.

Women’s Socks

I hate that I cannot get most cute women socks I want in my size. The package says fits sizes 4-10 but it does not.

I am a size 10. Most socks that say they are this size are actually too small. I wish I could buy socks that were not so tight but cute.

I can get normal white socks in a well fitting size but not cute design ones. Companies need to accommodate the larger footed women.

Air Fryer

You know you’re getting older when you get excited about getting an air fryer for you birthday.

Period

So every one who has a period knows that some days you just wake up in a mess. Today was the day I woke up in one.

My boyfriend was so sweet about it all. While I was using the bathroom he asked if I needed a new pair of underwear. Then he proceeded to get me one. It was a small act but meant a lot to me.
