eleven at night, everyone's asleep oh signal, go here straight. piyang-piyang's sound so loud and let me thank you all, ALOUD. brimming with joy my heart still since last week. It is so overwhelming to hear a 4-year old child says happy birthday to you out of the blue. i actually spent my birthday the whole week, Monday-Sunday. (so anyone can say 'happy birthday' any day of the week, it's valid 😊) AND Instead of preparing foods for one day, I/mom/Rog prepared for seven days. Not grandiose of course. No pricey foods and only simple bukid 'lagutmons'. i am so grateful for after 10 years, I've got to spend my birthday at home with nothing but bliss of fresh air and sweet conversations. only one thing I did ask from Rog, 1 gray and 1 pink balloons instead of what he used to give. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to. That's okay. Ohh wait, he gave me cake for the first time in my birthday (i guess) but, again I wasn't able to take a picture. Anyhow, his efforts of helping me cook the foods are enough. So, thank you so much, Dearly! Thank you, Mama and Papa for the sinabaw and adobong manok bisaya. All time favorite! And thank you also to our daily visitors for seven days for the birthday greetings and compliments about the foods (and maybe about the one who prepared it, isuksok gyud taman sa mahimo 😂). Know that I was happy to share the foods with you. 💕 Wishes for my birthday. One wish per day. So I've got seven. I wish that this #pandemic will really end soonest so everyone can live a normal life. I wish to mend those broken relationships, and peace be with us always. I wish to live life as simple as celebrating my birthday in a very simple bukid way. And I wish for a friend's genuine happiness whom I love and I am concerned of. Today is Papa's 56th Birthday. And next Monday, exactly one week today is Mom's 57th Birthday too. So this is a one time thank you post. (P.S. None of them can read this because none of them knows how to use social media 😂, they're not cool by the way) . And this is my first time to post, and share stories about their birthdays because I/we usually greet them in person early in the morning. And what's the use of posting when they cannot see or even read, right? BUT today, or this time is different, 'coz life is so short and only God knows the end of everyone's story. So I need to express through writing how grateful I am and how I appreciate them all my life. They're not the perfect mom and dad I dreamt of. They have lots of flaws I wish I could erase and change. Apart from pointing out what they missed to be the best parents, I embraced and accepted them wholeheartedly. Because whatever life throws at me and my siblings and when the world turns upside down, I cannot change the fact that I/we owe our lives to them. . Thank you, Mom and Dad for letting us see the world. Thank you also for all the hardships that pushed me/us to strive harder and pruned us to be these individuals with dignity and value. This may sound ironic, I hate it hearing all the nagging back in high school, I hate all the irresponsible actions you've made, I hate not having all the things we needed and I hate that we are in this kind of life BUT as I grow older, and my age increases its number I realise a lot of things. And one sure thing I did was to accept and turn the table differently. I used all the nags and all that lacks as my drive to be the best version of myself. And I genuinely thank you for being so hard, being so conservative and being so perfectionist. Thank you for challenging me all the time and hopefully I can finish the last challenge you set for me, Mom. 🙏🥳 . I pray for the both of you and God already knew everything about it. Realisations of yesterday's 17km early jog. . ❇️ Gasping for breath is intense, it's the climax of the running world. (Enhanced my breathing tech) . ❇️ Muscle cramps are only for those who are inconsistent. Consistency is key to muscles' memory. (I guess my muscles' stored some of my strides) . ❇️ Running is not about how far we go, how many races we finished and how many medals we get. It's about the journey and the people whom we are with. . ❇️ Running needs no money. You can run anywhere you would like. It's about you being holistic in achieving your running goals. . ❇️ Discipline to wake up by your alarm early in the morning. Eagerness to breathe and heave. And drive to continue. . ❇️ Saying 'good morning' to the person you encountered in the road (I think, I said good morning more than 10 times yesterday), and strangers reciprocating it with their best smiles + 'GOOD MORNING'.
