i was sanctioning for 4 weeks for not turning up for an additional meeting at the work programme. they never gave me a letter or talked to me about the additional meeting, i never received a letter to my home neither. i recieved no money from late december and through January. they then sanctioned me again for 16 weeks and then 3 months claiming that i'd missed another 2 dates. after many phone calls with "decision maker" they finally lifted the sanction as i never signed for the letter.

I have not been sanctioned, however, I was recently threatened with it a after making a comment that universal job match is unhelpful and poor, after I said this my advisor proceeded to threaten me with sanctioning despite my application to over 30 jobs that cycle (3 times higher than my job seekers agreement) and then forced me to agree to a work experience placement

Attended job centre 08/01/14 after the Christmas period. In a conversational manner i mentioned i'd not done as much as i usually do considering it was Christmas. Before i even had an opportunity to present evidence of what i had done or any jobs i had applied for my advisor decided without looking that i hadn't done enough and my claim had to be sanctioned for 3mths. Have just had a mandatory reconsideration find in my favour after submitting evidence of 28 job applications. 6wks wasted.

I was sanctioned for 4 weeks over the Xmas holidays just gone. I was doing a 2 week training course and my adviser said I just had to write training on my jobsearch form. However, my adviser changed and the next one took a different approach and said I should have completed the forms properly and that this showed her I had not been looking for work. I was suspended for 2 weeks to begin with and sanctioned for a further 2 weeks. I was also turned down for a hardship payment because of bad advice
