I always get frustrated with the age that Remus is portrayed in the movies. He’s meant to be like 33 at this stage, when David Thewlis (while I adore his performance) was over 40 at the time.

What If

Sirius and Remus never quite got together. What if the feelings were there, but the timing was never quite right. What if they both thought this or prioritized that, and it never really happened. What if there were drunken kisses, and an occasional lonely night spent together, but never anything more. What if neither of them wanted to burden the other with commitment. They each had their demons, and zero communication skills. What if, ‘what if’ haunted them both to the grave.
