First we will start with the electric vehicles you can go out and buy right now. Depending on what country you live in of course. To help build vital anticipation, we will start with the most affordable of the most expansive options, and ascend upward from there.

Tesla Model Y Performance

With overdue refreshes to Tesla's veteran Model S and Model X underway, the model Y is currently the automaker's most expansive option available right now. That being said, the Model Y still remains quite affordable compared to the acts to follow below.

The dual Performance trim, which prioritizes speed and acceleration over range, currently starts at a purchase price of $58,490.

Jaguar I-Pace HSE

The most expansive EV currently available is the Turbo S version of Porsche's Taycan. The internationally known sports car manufacturer has presented the Taycan as its first all-electric offering. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S starts at an $185,000.

Audi RS e-tron GT

Soon enough, we will be able to put our hands on the new electric Audi RS. Audi first unveiled the e-tron GT concept a few years ago, but only recently debuted the performance sedan to the world. In addition to the e-tron GT, Audi will also be delivering the even quicker RS e-tron GT. It starts at a price of $139,000.

Tesla has started Model Y deliveries in China

Tesla has started Model Y deliveries in China and they did it in a big way with deliveries in 10 major cities at once. 

For the past nine months, Tesla has been expanding Gigafactory Shanghai to prepare for the production of the electric SUV.

In October, Tesla released new pictures of the upcoming Model Y Shanghai factory,

In November, the automaker also obtained approval for Model Y made in China from the Ministry of Industry & Information Technology.

Finally, Tesla started production of the Model Y at Gigafactory Shanghai over the last few weeks. 

With the launch in the Chinese market, Tesla also updated the price of the electric SUV, which now starts at $52,000 for the Long Range Dual Motor version, and the Model Y Performance version will start at $56,000. 

Tesla China has now confirmed that they have started deliveries of the new Model Y in Chinese Market.The automaker announced that they started deliveries in 10 Chinese cities at once: Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuhan, Hefei, Wenzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Ningbo.

Ford Unveils E-Transit

Ford unveils E-Transit: an electric version of its versatile Transit van popular with commercial customers. 

It starts under $45,000 and offer some interesting connectivity features, but it has a limited range. 

The-E-Transit was one of the first all-electric vehicles announced by Ford when it put in place its electrification plan back in 2016. 

While it has been in the works for a long time already, Ford is not planning to bring it production until 2022.

Ford summarized its new electric van in a press release today:

 “Ford, the world’s cargo van leader, introduces the 2022 E-Transit van, a smart workhorse that will offer customers enhanced productivity enabled by its fully electric powertrain, software solutions, services, and Pro Power Onboard options.”

This unveiling ahead of time is going to help companies interested in going electric to plan for the update of their fleet.

Ford is producing between 108 and 126 miles of range depending on the configurations. It is pretty short, but Ford promises to release more expansive option with a longer range. 

The E-Transit is also equipped ford Co-Pilot360, the automaker’s suite of driver-assist and active safety features.

Tesla with the new Full Self-Driving Beta Update

Tesla has started pushing a new software under its Full Self-Driving Beta program and CEO Elon Musk says “it could already cut driver interventions by a third.

It has been less than two weeks since Tesla has started pushing the first version of its “Full Self-Driving” feature in beta to some users. Tesla has already been collecting large amount of data from its test fleet and now that information is being used to improve on the system.

CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the update could reduce driver interventions by as much as 33%: “ We measure this primarily in intervention probability. This update addressed several issues, resulting in perhaps 1/3 fewer inventions. Many of the improvements consist of fixing silly bugs vs grand eureka moments.” (Musk, Twitter). 

Even though Tesla calls the system “Full Self-Driving”, it actually requires that a driver keeps there hands on their steering wheel and be ready to take control.

Musk says that the automaker plans to push new updates 5 to 10 days leading to the wider release of the Full Self-Driving beta in the US later this year. 

“Faults will never be zero, but at some point probability of a fault will be far lower than that of the average human.” (Musk, Twitter), The CEO wars us that errors will never reach zero, but Tesla’s hope is that they will become low enough to be safer that humans.

Elon Musk teases new information for the electric pickup

Elon Musk made some new comments on Tesla Cybertruck and gave a better idea of the production ramp for the electri pickup truck.

During the conference call where Tesla released its Q3 2020 financial results, Musk was asked to give more information about the new cybertruck.

Elon started by mentioning that he recently did a design review of the Cybertruck with Franz von Holzhausen (Tesla's Design Chief):

"I was in the studio last Friday with Franz and the team looking over some improvements on the Cybertruck."

Musk also said that Tesla's strategy is to always improve on concept vehicles with the production version unline other automakers who often significantly tone down vehicle from concept to production.

Elon added: "There are a lot of small improvements compared to what was unveiled. I think it's going to be better than what we showed."

Tesla has apparantly been making a lot of changes to the Cybertruck design since it was shown last year in November 2019.

Musk previously talked about Tela updating the Cybertruck's adaptive air suspension. They also talked about making the truck smaller, but Musk scapped that plan after another design review in May.

Elon and his team always try their best when they develop a new car.

Elon said that if everything goes well, Tesla should deliver some Cybertrucks in late 2021 as previously announced, but people should not expect volume production until 2022.

It’s official - Tesla picks Austin, Texas, as the location for its new factory

Elon musk told the whole world that Tesla has chosen Austin, Texas for its next factory and it’s going to happen quickly. 

The race to secure Tesla’s next factory is now over. 

According to what Elon Musk was saying, Tesla is set on bringing next Tesla Gigafactory to Austin, or at least close to the city.

“It's going to be right near Austin, five minutes from Austin International Airport and about 15 minutes from downtown Austin.”, Musk says. 

People familiar with the project said that Musk has tasked the engineering team working at Gigafactory Nevada to start the process for the new factory, which is expected to make the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck and the model Y. 

According to the sources, Elon Musk said that the decision for the site is not set in stone since Tesla was apparently given a few options in the greater Austin are, but Musk is said to want to start construction extremely soon and aims to have model Y vehicles coming out of the plant by the end of the year.

The land is an “ecological paradise” along the Colorado River, and will remains open to the public for recreation opportunities. 

It would be even more aggressive timeline than Gigafactory Shanghai. 

Tesla wants to move extremely fast while beating everyone and its own records. 

Recently Musk has been talking about moving Tesla’s California operations to Nevada and Texas due to the automaker’s difficulties working with the local government to reopen the Fremont factory, where it currently produces most of its vehicles. 

“By late next year, the new Texas factory would be producing Tesla’s new Cybertruck electric pickup.”, Elon Musk says.

Audi is teasing the production of e-tron GT and unveiling the “progressive” sound of the vehicle

Audi is teasing the production version of its e-tron GT electric supercar and unveiling the “progessive” sound of the vehicle.

Audi collaborating with Porsche is an exciting entry in the EV space.

Audi unveiled its prototype 2 years ago in 2018, and now it is finally getting ready to start production.

Couple days ago, the German automaker teased the production and the sound of the electric car:

“Passion for detail, maximum precision, and top quality: The new Audi e-tron GT reflects all the passion with which Audi develops and builds cars. For the production of the electrically powered Gran Turismo at Audi Böllinger Höfe at the Neckarsulm site, the company uses customized new technologies – however, the finishing touches are applied by highly skilled hands. And since the dynamic work of art must also sound good, Audi has brought musical flair and technical competence to bear in composing a unique sound for the e-tron GT. It sounds powerful and progressive – just as an Audi should.”

Tesla delivers record number of electric cars

Tesla has shown its third-quarter delivery and production results, showing that Tesla delivered a record number of 139,300 electro vehicles.

A few weeks ago, the Wall Street reporter from Tesla analysts was just over 120,000 deliveries, but the expectations rose to roughly 140,000 deliveries over the last week of the quarter.

Tesla released its delivery and production results, confirming the production of more than 145,000 vehicles and the delivery of almost 140,000 vehicles. 

It is a new all-time delivery record for Tesla - beating its last record Q4 2019 deliveries of 112,000 electric vehicles.

Tesla was back to producing more cars than it delivered, Tesla reported, including 128,044 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, and 16,992 Model and Model X vehicles, making the total of 145,036 electric vehicles. 

With possible excess capacity at the Shanghai Factory, Tesla now plans to begin exporting some of its made-in-China vehicles to Europe. Historically, it has exported only cars it produced in the U.S. to Europe. 

This is a truly impressive result especially when compared to the Tesla’s competitors. While all the car companies are recovering from the pandemic, Tesla is not only recovering, but also increasing sales significantly. 

Tesla’s stock is down 4% in pre-market trading, but it can not really be attributed to the delivery result since it was down by more than 5% earlier. All of the stocks are currently falling because of the recent news with President Donald Trump having a COVID-19.

Welcome guys about the new blog I am starting on my Tumblr profile. Previously I used to post stuff about social media and how it might affect you in good or bad ways. 

For now, I am changing this blog about social medias to a blog about electro cars. I will provide all the latest info about electro cars, I will get some interesting facts about electric cars and their production and also I will discuss how they might develop the world in a better way. 

First of all, I would want to start my new blog out with a company that showed the whole world that electro cars could be faster, comfortable and entertaining than gasoline cars. It is a pretty easy guess. 

Tesla was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers who wanted to prove the world that people did not need to compromise to drive electric cars, that electric vehicles can be better, quicker and more fun to drive than gasoline cars. Tesla builds not only electric cars, it also builds clean energy generation and storage products. Tesla designed the world's first ever premium all-electric sedan - Model S which has become the best car in its class history. Model S changed the world's views on electric cars and proved to the whole world that electric cars can be better, quicker and more fun to drive than gasoline cars. Not a long time after then, developed by CEO Elon Musk, Model X was created. The safest, quickest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history. Tesla vehicles are produced at its factory in Fremont, California and Gigafactory Shanghai. In order to create an entire sustainable energy ecosystem, Tesla also manufactures a unique set of energy solutions, Powerwall, Powerpack and Solar Roof. Tesla inspired many car companies around the world into the world of electro cars. As for now, there are a couple companies like Audi with their Audi e-tron product, Jaguar with Jaguar I-PACE model, Nissan with their Nissan LEAF and many many more starting with Chevrolet Bolt EV and ending with Porsche Taycan. Electric car industry is growing and it will not stop anytime soon.

This is just the start to this blog and I wanted to start it off right, with a company that made electro cars known to world.
