evie’s head immediately lifts from where it’s resting on her hand, eyes moving over to the source of the unexpected response. a little invasive and inappropriate for him to butt into other people’s private bubbles and as far as she’s concerned, he isn’t part of the conversation she’s having with the other fellow students. “it’s a little impolite for you to butt into conversations of other students with their professors, isn’t it?” mindlessly replies with her tone rather flat and cold, her usual dulcet ones honeyed out into crisp dust for what he’s just done. though she’s rather interested in what he’d retort with once confronted. “what makes you think it’s okay to intrude the way you did mister..?”

there’s a gentle smile that tugs at her lips at the question of the younger one, fingers sweeping strands of dark hair that hid her face in a curtained veil. seeing the other’s reaction reminds her of something nostalgic, of soft moments and tender little falls; her younger sister perhaps, who she can never admit out loud the soft spot she’s got for. “you took quite a fall from there.” evie quickly reaches for the ice pack that another cheerleader offers them, pressing it towards the sore spot that danbi’s bumped into rather harshly. “not dead but you do have a small bump on your forehead. don’t be surprised and say i didn’t warn you.”

the search for a water bottle becomes the next thing she does and she immediately fends someone to get a cold one when she notices there aren’t any spare ones for her to take. “now tell me, am i going to need to take you to the nurses station or you think you’re conscious enough? if it’s hurting a lot, tell me.”
