It’s been about 5 months since my mom died. I drove down to her place today to finally start cleaning her house out and after taking some time to sob quietly to myself in the room that she passed in I found this fan art I did of Hobbes when I was about 9 years old amongst her things. I always think about how much further I have to go as an artist without giving myself any credit for how far I’ve already come. Thank you for keeping this stuff after all these years and always seeing my potential, mom. Love you. Rest easy.

I didn't get into Homestuck when it was coming out. I tried but my life was very complicated at the time. I did however enjoy the animated pilot that came out recently even though I also found it extremely confusing.

I call this piece “Toriel Uses Fire Magic Indoors Without Opening a Window and Gets Carbon Monoxide Poisoning and Fucking Dies”. Once a year I challenge myself to make the most elaborate Undertale/Deltarune fanart I can muster in order to test my mettle as an illustrator and also to punish myself for choosing to go to college to learn 3D modeling when my heart has always been with 2D art. This is my third year in a row doing this. I also just really love Undertale. It’s an incredible game and at the risk of sounding dramatic I can’t even begin to quantify the effect this game has had on my life. Stay ✨DETERMINED ✨I guess I can go back to making shitpost art now. Commissions open also. Preferably furry commissions because those are the most fun. Deltarune tomorrow.
