personally i don’t think tom would growl and say something like “you’re mine” when he gets jealous over harry. i think he’d be like “oh… so you are friends with people other than me…” or “oh… so you’ve dated people before me…” and he’d ask leading questions like that while thinking he’s being very subtle and masterfully covering up his true feelings. and then he gets up and leaves harry and then disappears into his room and lies under the covers, shaking, vibrating, with pitiful whimpers falling from his lips, pretending he isn’t crying, thinking about how harry doesn’t love him after all and how embarrassing he’s been so far and how he’s NEVER going to trust anyone ever again and NEVER open himself up to anyone again and human beings SUCK and everyone LIES and he’s ALL ALONE and maybe he really should get on with creating those horcruxes because it’s not like ANYONE (harry) CARES what he does with his SOUL! and then he stays in bed for two days and shows up to breakfast red-eyed and blank faced and tries to ignore harry. and then he obviously fails
