I just wanted to say that I found your Bleach fic 'One Moment' on Ao3 and while I fully understand being frustrated and disenchanted with Bleach, ShunStarrk is still one of my most beloved OTPs ever, and your fic is now my benchmark for not only fic about Starrk but good fics in any fandom. I loved every single chapter of it and have reread it multiple times already. It's just lovely and brilliant (and hot) and gives me all the Starrk-Lillynette feels. So thank you very much for it. Hello! I have recently found your work and enjoy your themes and grasp of how widely cultures vary and how deeply it shapes thought. It was very exciting to see Chinese culture (my theoretical heritage) written from the inside in English. I like insider social analysis of my own country, and want similar understanding of Chinese culture, both classical and contemporary. Do you have any reading suggestions? I can learn Chinese, but it would take a while. It can be a commission if you like.

Oh my god it took me absolutely *forever* to get to this, and I’m sorry. My only excuse is that work has fried my brain, which isn’t a good one. Please forgive me. 

Also, I’m very sorry to say that- no, I don’t know very much when it comes to reading materials. I’m the worst person to ask, because I come from the POV of someone who lived through those experiences, and so I never had need for reading materials. The only possible recommendation I can make is Maxine Hong Kingston’s work, especially *The Woman Warrior* and *China Men*.

I don’t recommend learning Chinese - that’s the work of over a decade or even more. Also, I’m not sure what you mean by a commission?

I hope that this reply suffices, sob, and I’m sorry again for taking such a ridiculously long time.

I don’t use my tumblr anymore, but I don’t have any other social media accounts to post this, so here it is.

I’m opening up fic commissions with the money to be paid to charity.

So, some basic information...

Payscale: $3 per 1000 words, with the maximum being 25,000 words. (Anything else would take far too long for me to write to be reasonable.)

Fandoms: Three Kingdoms (Wei-focus, most medias), Naruto, Joy of Life (庆余年), and SuperVocal (especially 云次方). Anything else is up for discussion.

Pairings: Namjin, Cao Cao with anyone, MadaTobi, etc. Up to discussion.

Things I Will Not Write: Romanticised abuse, anyone as anything but their original culture, hybrid AUs, hard kinks such as watersports and scat.

Things I Will Write: Mostly everything else.

1994.2.18/A/Rap & Dance. He’s a well known b-boy in Gwangju and won many competitions. He’s the mood maker and the mother of BTS. His favorite singer is ASAP Rocky.

JIMIN: 「It’s a bit sudden (laughs) but what do you think of me?」

J-HOPE: 「You’re very spunky and obscure (laughs) (thinks for a moment) Jiminie, you are good at dancing as well as singing, and I think you're a really nice child.」

Every time, we will have a relay interview with two members just talking among themselves. Vol.10 is about BTS’ rappers, RAP MONSTER and SUGA’s exciting music stories.

★SUGA D.O.B: 1993.3.9 Blood type: O Fact: He uses YAMAHA’s Cubase to produce music. From composing the lyrics and melody of the songs on their official blog to producing songs such as『싸이하누월 (it doesn’t matter)』.

★RAP MONSTER D.O.B: 1994.9.12 Blood type: A Fact: His childhood dream was to become a poet and writer. The song that he has produced and uploaded on their official blog『Unpack Your Bags』is a song that describes his character as a rapper.

SUGA 「Rap Monster is expressive and he writes original (novel-like) lyrics.」

RAP MONSTER 「We were certainly imprudent with dance choreographies.」

Last month, BTS released their 1st album『DARK&WILD』in Korea. The title song『Danger』is a song about a cold-hearted girl’s attitude towards the boy who loves her. It’s an impressive song with lyrics expressing his sad feelings and filled with hip hop & punk rock mixed melodies.

This week’s stars are RAP MONSTER and SUGA, the pair who are involved in producing BTS’ songs. They talked a lot about producing songs and being consistent with their lyrics.

1994.9.12. V says:「unexpectedly, he’s a timid leader」. When he was in high school, he had excellent grades so he was the class president, it seems that he used his power to torture the people around him.

1995.12.30/AB/Vocal. During high school, he called himself the「whiz child of studying」, he was very good at literarcy but bad at English. Rap Monster says:「he’s good at dance and talking instinctively. Being a celebrity is his calling in life」.

RAP MONSTER: What we have in common is fashion! Both of us likes cool things.

V: When we were trainees, Rap Monster often said “let’s go shopping for clothes” and lured me to go out. What kind of brand do you like nowadays? 

RAP MONSTER: Of course it’s Supreme! Nowadays I’m also into Rick Owens’ designer clothes. And the other day, I bought a pair of trousers.

V: I thought that Rap Monster liked chic, simple fashion and now you suddenly buying fancy clothes.

1992.12.4/O/Vocal. Born in Gwacheon. Charming point: fleshy lips and broad shoulders. He has a nickname of ‘handsome shoulder guy’. Habit: when he’s hungry, his left eye blinks.

★JUNG KOOK

1997.9.1/A/Rap & Dance. He learnt Taekwondo, basketball and badminton in his childhood. Last year, he covered Zion.T’s ‘Yanghwa Bridge’ with his own lyrics and named it ‘Working’, and covered Crush’s ‘Sofa’.

JUNGKOOK: Jin and Jungkook, so we’re JinKook~.

JIN: The unit name is rubbish (laughs) do we have to make one, didn’t we make one before?

JUNGKOOK: Ah! Right, right! I think it was 4 characters.

JIN: Generation…

JUNGKOOK: Generation difference!

JIN: Because we have the biggest age difference in BTS.

JUNGKOOK: Yeah. 5 years’ difference.

JIN: But we don’t give off the feeling of ‘the oldest’ and ‘the youngest’. Speaking of age, we’re ‘hyung’ and ‘dongsaeng’ but in reality we have a relationship like classmates.

JUNGKOOK: At first, shall I call it walls, I cared about many things. But then we became comfortable with each other, we went out to play, ate, played games and worked out together. To be honest, there are times where I feel that you’re younger than me.

JIN: Oh, really?

JUNGKOOK: When we talk about manga and figures. And when I see you collecting them, I’m not saying you seem younger but it’s kind of cute.

JIN: You don’t understand. Collecting figures is those who are older than the young kids likes to do!

JUNGKOOK: Hmm. Do you ever feel that I’m older than you Jin hyung?

JIN: Well. I’ve always thought you’re young but you’re amazing. You have the above-average skills in nearly everything. I’m always surprised thinking “we’re both humans, how can you be so talented at this age!” I only remember playing games when I was at Jungkook’s age. I was addicted to online games, I stayed and played games in the PC room for about 11 hours everyday. I miss those days~.

JUNGKOOK: (laughs) that’s what youth is. What will I be doing when I get to Jin hyung’s age? 

JIN: What do you want to do?

JUNGKOOK: Well… Compose songs and write lyrics? I want to do everything that I want to do. Work out a lot, sing songs and then acting…?

JIN: Even acting!?

JUNGKOOK: I don’t know yet (laughs).

JUNGKOOK: Do you remember the time we first met? When the hoobae trainees were visiting the sunbae trainees to see how they practice, both of us were in the same group.

JIN: When I was observing (the sunbaes), Jungkook came in. At the time, I thought “this kid is cute, with his perfectly round, googly eyes.” But now it has turned out like this (laughs).

JUNGKOOK: What do you mean? (laughs) Before I came to Seoul, I haven’t seen many handsome guys, so when I saw Jin hyung, I thought “oh handsome people like this really exists in the world”. I was purely impressed.

JIN: (laughs with satisfaction) Speaking of the trainee days, we went out to eat a lot. I remember when we had singing lessons outside of the company, we used to eat together after the lessons everyday and then we went back to the dormitory together. Always asked for different menus. It was fun.

JUNGKOOK: Here we go again, it’s about food (again).

JIN: (laughs bitterly)

JUNGKOOK: Ah, I want to go and have some singing lessons.

JIN: I want to see the teachers.

JUNGKOOK: Speaking of food, what we have in common is that we like to cook. Even now, I help out when Jin hyung cooks.

JIN: I feel that the food tastes better thanks to Jungkook for helping me out (laughs).

JUNGKOOK: No, all I did was helping you…

JIN: Please take care of me in the future as well.

JUNGKOOK: Please leave it to me! Any other requests?

JIN: Um.. that’s enough, please stop growing taller (laughs) I’m the second tallest in BTS right now, if Jungkook grows a little bit taller, you will be taller than me. But you were 173 cm before and now you’re 177 cm? You will be taller than me, it’s just a matter of time. 

JUNGKOOK: You don’t need to worry about that. I went to the hospital and had a check up, they said that I’ve stopped growing. 

JIN: Really?

JUNGKOOK: Ah. It’s not the whole body, I think it’s just the lower half part of the body will stop growing. So that means if I continue to grow, my legs will be relatively short!?

JIN: Huhuhu (evil laughs) No one knows about that. Anyways, do you have any requests?

JUNGKOOK: Um- well… You’ve been treating me well, so there’s nothing in particular ♥ 

JIN: You just find it troublesome to think of something right?

JUNGKOOK: No no, it’s not (laughs) I really mean it. ♥

Mini Interview - Food part: J-HOPE

Q1: Tell us about you own crazy way of eating!

A1: I eat sundae (Korean sausage) dipped in red chili-pepper paste with vinegar, and I put sugar in Kongguksu (noodles served in a cold soy milk broth) instead of salt! It’s my hometown Gwangju’s unique way of eating. The members thinks it’s weird.

Q2: Your favorite Korean dish and the reason?

A2: The snacks and brass chafing dish that you would see in the royal court cuisine! I’ve always liked Korean dishes such as vegetables and kimchi. After the age of 20, I prefer to eat simple (plain) foods than greasy foods (laughs).

★J-HOPE

1994.9.12. His pose in the photo shoot looks like 「studying through fashion magazine」 and 「simulation of lying on the bed before going to sleep」. He is appearing in the Korean variety show 「Problematic Men」.
