From the Poke Ball, emerges a Magmortar, which towers over the small girl. The figure spoke in a distorted voice, as they tried to grab Shauna by her face, and lift her into the air. “You should be. You should be.”

            A quick step or two more back is enough for have her narrowly avoid the hand, though she nearly loses her balance in the process-- oops? She'd be no good against the Magmortar with her strongest pokémon, but guess who didn't happen to be carrying any water types that day? Yep, her. The hand avoided, she gets a little more distance, letting out her Chesnaught, which also happened to tower over her. Everything did.             "I know we don't battle much-- but you can do this, okay?"

The figure doesn’t say a word, and just takes a step towards her, with a hand going to a Pokeball on their waist.

            Okay, so-- clearly they meant business? That's a thing. Should she tell them she barely ever battles anymore? Should she play the child card, despite being an adult? Taking a couple steps back, she goes for a pokéball of her own. "I'm not afraid to battle you, you know. Don't be such a creep about it, it was a joke."
