(/looks at the sheet placed in front) Ohh! We do! Those classes are actually really fun. Teacher's totally laid back. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. (/smiles)

Egotism. (Jihae & Ara)

Right from the beginning, Ara had already known how clever she was. Everyone she met never failed to praise her for the bright ideas she always had and the quickness she always exhibited in coming up with resourceful plans. Ara grew up supremely confident in her brilliant future in the medical field, which was the area that she was particularly talented in. In fact, she had recently developed a technique that could bond parts of the human body together without causing any tissue scarring or tissue incompatibility. It was a breakthrough that would ensure her place in the medical circles. She was that sure.

That was why Ara now felt terribly incensed that her capabilities were called into question. Her schoolmates before her stood solid and smug, looking as if they were about to burst in hilarity over what they called her ‘sci-fi imagination’. Ara had been boasting about her bonding technique in the school. Surrounded by the admiring attention of the usual lunch crowd in the canteen, she had gone on to detail the possibilities of the technique in healing the human body using spare body parts. Of course, most of the claims were exaggerated, fuelled by her vanity and eagerness to maintain attention on herself. But little did her known that those schoolmates would take such a keen interest in what she was saying - they had made her repeat several times what she was capable of.

The school bell rang and the lunch crowd dispersed to their respective classes.  Ara quickly packed up her stuffs and the moment she stood up from her seat, she heard someone behind,

“Hey, Ara.”

Jihae eagerly packed up her stuff placed on her desk and scrambled out of the door and bidding her teacher farewell. Jihae had stayed after class for a bit to discuss something with her professor and the talk had went longer than she thought it would have. It had gone past her lunch time, and she was hungry. Exceptionally hunger. Her stomach was throwing a little fit from the craving of food.

Jihae glanced down to her watch and noticed that she only had 15 minutes until her next class, Psychology, would start. She sighed, she would only have time to buy her food and then eat while walking to class. She stepped foot into the canteen and noticed a whole crowd in the middle. Being a curious girl, she tried to navigate herself to seen what everyone was crowding around without being too obvious. Jihae noticed that the center of the crowd was Ara. Ara had been one of the people that was pretty much a hot topic at the school with her level of intelligence. Jihae had to admit she was smart but never really found her that much of hot topic. It was probably just her. 

Still on an empty stomach, Jihae made her way to the cashier and ordered her food. After ordering, she leaned against the railing tapping her foot. Just as the school bell rang, Jihae's order was called. She walked up to the employee and retrieved her food and smiled to herself. She couldn't wait to gobble this down. She looked around the canteen and noticed how the crowd of people just seemed to disappear. However, Ara was still there. Deciding to strike up a conversation since the two had psychology next together, Jihae approached the girl. "Hey, Ara!" she smiled and gave off a wave. "Mind if I walk to Psychology with you?"

(/scoffs at the question being imposed) Are you implying I’m below you? (/bitterly laughs) I’m farther above than you, don’t mistake that… ever.

(/looks at you with a blank face) No, I wasn't implying anything. I was just simply asking you a question. And cool, it's nice to know you're farther above then me. (/nods head once then mumbles) As if I care.

I’d probably take longer. I’m really bad at memorizing things. (laughs) Oh, we’re in three classes together. At least I won’t go in not knowing anyone. (slips paper back into pocket) … So you like dancing?

Hey! At least you're not bad with directions. I took so long and needed so much help being able to navigate around this campus. (/slightly pouts) Ah, I do like dancing, but.. I don't feel as if I'm good at it. I like expressing myself through it though.

Ah, really? It’s nice to know a fellow freshman. (smiles, a bit more comfortable) Oh, let me check. I haven’t memorized it yet. (takes out paper) College algebra, chemistry, psychology, music appreciation, and dance. … Any of them the same?

(/laughs) It's fine. I had to write my schedule on my arm for the first two weeks. (/grins sheepishly) Oh! We have Psychology, Music Appreciation, and Dance together.

(/shrugs) Directions and I don't tend to make very good friends. Okaay! (/jumps and claps hands together) Let's go tour, tour, tour! (/looks around reluctantly) Can I see your schedule first? I think I those should be our first destination.

(/nods) Ah, sure! (/laughs) It's okay, you're probably still do a lot better than me even without a map. It took me a little more than two weeks to get used to everything. (/scratches head and grins sheepishly) I... still get lost sometimes.

(/claps hands together) Ah, yay! Woot. Another freshman friend. Hm, I'm in Calculus, Physics, Psychology, Music Appreciation, and Dance. Anything together? (/scratched head)
