Indefinite hiatus/quitting?

Hi everyone.  I'm sorry to say, but I will be putting this blog on an indefinite hiatus and dropping all of my threads.  It's been a fun run, but I can't go on any longer, because I've lost my muse for Cloud and I'm much too busy with everything else going on in my life to even rp.  And it's also because I feel uncomfortable being on here.  I don't know when or if I will be returning to this community, but for now, it's goodbye.

How old were you when you first started RP-ing?: 12.  I started on Myspace, HAHA.

Height: Tall enough.

OC’s or Canons?: OC's on Skype, canons on the dash.

Prefer to play females or males?: Males. I make a pretty whiny and annoying female, tbh.  

Favorite face claim to play: I don't use faceclaims.

Least favorite face claim:   Eh, I'm not a big fan of faceclaims in general, just because the character already has a face, LOL.

Worst rp experience ever:  Haha, ask me that on Skype.  I'm sure I'd get a lot of hate if I said it here.

Fluff, angst, or smut?:  All three in moderation.  Fluff is nice, but can get cheesy.  Angst could get meh if it's too dragged out, and smut can get redundant for me.  I like to mix it up and do all three.

Most overused FC:  I dunno.  Anyone from Vampire Diaries or Supernatural?

First character you ever made:  First character I ever made was an OC, and he was the Prince of Japan LOL.  As for a canon character, that would have to be Zero Kiryu and I was pretty good at portraying him, not gonna lie, HAHA.

Worst character you’ve ever played: Machina Kunagiri.... Idk, I almost want to pick him up again just to redeem myself.

Favorite type of plot: Action, fighting, angst.  Boom, boom, boom.  

At what time of day is your writing the best?: At night when I'm not doing anything at all.

Are you anything like your muse?: I can be a huge, snarky asshole, and I can get really quiet and contemplative.  Depends on how I'm feeling.

Worst thing about RP (in general or on Tumblr): Drama... I hate drama more than anything.  

To end on a good note — best thing about RP?:  Meeting new people and improving on my writing!

PSA: ABOUT MUTUALS

Recently, I’ve been receiving a lot of questions from followers asking what it means to be a mutual. In the roleplay community on Tumblr, mutual refers to two people who are following one another on their roleplay blogs. These people may have been following each other for months, or they may have just started following each other. Person A may have been following Person B for a while and Person B just followed Person A back today - you get the general idea.

That all being said, posts that a mun will throw up that say ‘mutuals like for a starter’ refer to these followers specifically. You can check to see if said mun is following you back by going to your followers section of your sidebar and typing in their url in ‘search your followers’ box on the page. It’ll tell you there if they’re following you back or not.

However, it is important to remember that in the spirit of selectivity, it’s nothing personal if a roleplayer isn’t following you back. For me personally, I don’t follow back a lot of people if I’m unfamiliar with the fandom or if I just don’t see a lot of interaction possibilities between my character and someone else’s character. Sometimes people’s writing styles won’t mesh, and other times it’s a situation where you’ve been following a roleplayer for months and haven’t interacted once, so you ultimately decide to break that mutual follow. It’s never anything personal and it should never be taken personally - so please, do not guilt roleplayers for not following you back.

If someone is selective, they’re selective - they have their reasons for it and those reasons should be respected. So please, always check before you ask for starters, and be understanding and respectful of other’s rules and wishes. It’ll save everyone some awkwardness and unneeded drama.

please read people’s pages. it will take you all of a minute, and it will save you some heartaches. eventually, people notice when you don’t read their pages, if they don’t at the start, and if anything, it’s a turn-off. so, just… please. read pages. read ‘must reads.’ read disclaimers. read anything that the roleplayer you want to write with has said you need to read to know how their blog works. i guarantee you will have a better and more thorough understanding, then. thanks.
