[ shelter inn ] our muses are both taking shelter from some untimely weather at a travellers' inn.
[ a dance/celebration ] our muses are attending a dance, and as the partners swap they meet on the dancefloor.
[ festival ] our muses are separately attending an annual community festival hosted in town.
[ royal celebration ] the monarchy has put on a celebration for their people, our muses meet during the festivities.
[ runaway horse ] after being thrown from their spooked horse, sender abruptly meets the receiver as they are tracking down the runaway horse.
[ by the fireside ] sender approaches the receiver on a cold night, drawn in by their fire, in hopes they can share the warmth.
[ disaster strikes ] a lightning storm has hit, our muses have both taken shelter from the dangerous weather inside an abandoned structure.
[ market square ] our muses come into contact whilst attending the same marketplace, or market stall.
[ on fire! ] our muses meet in the chaos of a fire breaking out amongst the houses in the village or town.
[ upon the docks ] our muses are both by the docks; for the ships and/or fishmongers, where they meet.
[ a new servant ] sender, or reciever, is a newly employed servant in or nearby the home of the other muse.
[ that's my horse! ] our muses meet in an argument wherein both believe the stabled horse is theirs. in reality, they have near-identical horses and it's an unintentional misunderstanding.
[ a tournament ] our muses are attending, working as, or participating in a tourney, hosted by the crown or relative nobles.
