      Bella was confused to say the least-- she’d heard about Jane from the Cullens; hell, she’d even met her before.  But from what she could tell, Jane wasn’t doing anything except glaring at her, like she was trying to murder her with her eye sight alone.  Her brow furrowed as she considered what Jane was attempting to do but if she was right, then shouldn’t she be on the floor screaming in agony by now?  -- Unless Jane’s gift was like Edwards and it didn’t work on her.. -- Something that Bella was actually glad of if she was honest; whenever somebody mentioned Jane, they never failed to mention the unendurable pain that the small vampire brought with her, the pain that she seemed to relish in-- Pain that Bella seemed to be unable to feel..                    “ Are you going to keep trying to do that all day? “          The words were out of her mouth before she even thought of them-- something which she should probably stop doing unless she wanted to find out how strong a vampire of Jane’s size could be.
