Fun with @exiles-and-empires and @cheesehound at Wigwalli for the end of the game. The game won’t let me log in anymore so I guess that’s it–thanks for all the fun Wildstar, shame to see you go. Gonna keep this blog around to look back on past memories; maybe I’ll write Nero again in another sci-fi universe.

WS won’t let me log in any more, so I’ll just give my goodbye speech now. To quote some of Jarf’s last said words, “You’re all cunts. Keep it that way.”

I started playing WS in June 2015, with Jarf being the third toon I rolled but ended up being my main (even though all I did was RP and fuck around in housing).  He's the only char I got up to 50 without a boost, and I worked on his plot the most (and as bad as I am at housing, I'm rather proud of the Landing, tyvm). A couple years ago, I mustered up the courage to go to a public RP plot on my own and meet some new folks. While there, I was approached by a member of the Red Tail Gang circle, and shortly after that I joined. Now listen, these fuckers have been around for a while and a fucking half. I'd heard of them when I first joined, and never thought I'd ever meet any of them, let alone be one. So holy fuck. Golly gosh son of a cunt. And lemme tell ya, these guys are awesome. The events are entertaining, epic, and hilarious, their RP hubs blow my fucking mind (looking at you Grizmo), and the people themselves are phenomenal. I don't/didn't chat with them nearly as much as I should, but the times that I did hang with them or play silly games with them, I had a blast. I know it's not like once WS shuts down that we're all gonna vanish from each other's lives, but... man. It ain't gonna be the same. But I'm still so glad to have met these folks. There were some things that I had about Jarf's story that I couldn't really portray ingame, though. And I plan on fixing that through writing his own goddamn fucking novel series. That's right. Jarf's gonna be in a book. Or two. Or three. I have a pretty large-scale storyline in mind here. Back on the topic of one of my favourite games dying, though... I'm heartbroken. Those last two years where I was playing WildStar, guys? I was going through some shit. Like. Shit. But the gang, Jarf's story, hell just running around building his housing plot, gave me something to do besides kill myself. So I did, and as silly as it sounds, it worked. I'm still here. I'm glad I'm still here. I'm glad I tried this game out. And I'm gonna miss it. See you all off Nexus, cupcakes.
