It’s a lot easier to keep a door open and get through a door if you stick your foot in it. So I apply this philosophy to procrastination. It’s a lot easier to get a task done when I start it. I don’t have to finish it. Just get my foot in the door, make some notes on what I need to do or do a bit of reading. when I come back to it, it doesn’t seem so bad because I’ve at least wrapped my mind around it. It’s open to me now whereas before it was closed and untouched.
