Always bear in mind that there is absolutely no legitimate evidence that Luigi was actually the one who killed the insurance company guy.
Of course he wasn't. He was at a party with me that day.
No but like literally, actually. All bits aside.
He didn't do it.
The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.
Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?
From the moment of his arrest, even left-of-center media has been presuming his guilt without examining anything (e.g. calling him "the killer" instead of "alleged" or "accused") and then when I say he didn't do it, the nearest person chimes in with some quip that tells me they think he did do it but should go free anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would have the same attitude if he had done it. But he didn't. It makes me feel like the only sane person in the world, even among my staunchly leftist friends.

in terms of Steddie, I think the most interesting version of it is that Eddie had absolutely no interest in Steve until he sees him tear apart a demobat with his teeth like a Barbarian. I will point out that the ambiguous flirting didn't start until after that moment
Steddie are just as much weird, in love and devoted to each other as the Addams, and none can change my mind.
"last night you were unhinged. You were like some desperate, howling demon. You frightened me... Do it again" —something which Steve probably said.
Overprotective Max who's been good friends with Eddie until he starts dating Steve.
That's her beloved babysitter. The older brother she always wanted to have.
Anyone who wants to date Steve must prove themselves worthy of his affections, no matter if it's a stranger or someone Max's been friends with, like Eddie.
Eddie never thought he'd have to earn a fourteen-year-old's approval first in order to date Steve.
Post it on Twitter some months ago and forgot to post it here 😔 so here yall go !!
This is how I think the whole situation should have gone with Sam and bucky after the thunderbolts 😞

AU where steve is literally one year younger
idk, i just keep thinking about the "what-ifs" of steve being in the same year as robin, nancy, and jonathan, and esp steve as a senior when dustin and the party are freshmen.
would he sit with dustin at lunch? would mike WANT to sit with steve at lunch, or would dustin have to rotate between sitting with steve/robin and lucas/mike/hellfire? what friction would be caused between eddie and steve if they were literally in school at the same time as dustin and jostling for his attention?
by this point, it's post s3 and steve will have had his arc of breaking past "primitive constructs" of popularity so i like to think he still has his handshake with dustin in the middle of the hallway in front of everyone and he is totally open about being besties with nerds, even if he can't get into the nerdy interests himself. i think steve's popularity is influenced for the better in some ways (as it tends to be when a charismatic, attractive person is not self conscious lol), but people like jason and others on the basketball and baseball team might give him some shit. but i looooove the idea of steve in high school continuing to play sports, and that's how he bonds further with lucas-- who is now on the basketball team at the same time as steve. lucas and steve will both have that tension between nerds and jocks that we see in s4, with eddie and steve as even clearer foils for each other (and steve and jason as rivals/foils).
robin and steve would be even more inseparable-- always driving in together, hanging out in between classes, studying together, etc. everyone thinks they are dating and it is a constant source of grief between steve and all the girls he tries to date. they always feel like he prioritizes robin over them (he has way more inside jokes with her and general chemistry than anyone else he tries to date). i imagine steve's constantly hanging around her locker and they're always passing notes to each other in class, which does NOT help with the dating rumors.
robin and steve end up as each other's platonic dates to homecoming and prom purely bc they decide it will be more fun that way and steve's in between gfs for those dances. again, not beating the dating rumors. steve is just robin's beard for the entirety of her senior year which he ends up being fine with lol
