Im waiting for you- can you feel me? I cant wait to laugh with you, I know we will have so much fun together. I love the way you take care of me and the way you look at me. I love to hear you talk about work & figure out solutions to dilemas- youre so smart, I also love to hear you talk about your wierd hobby. I love that you can see something, or I tell you what Im thinking- and next thing I know, youve built it. You spoil me. Give the best advice... and hugs- the unsettled feeling thats been there since I can remember, is gone. You settle me. I know Im safe with you.

You make me proud to be loved by you. Ive been telling Carter for years, I would get him shelves (and a door knob lol)- and you did it. The kids have never had a man in their life that they respect (besides grandpas); youre teaching them how a man is supposed to be. Strong, capable, yet kind and soft. An amazing teacher. You encourage them, plan stuff for us all to do together, make sure you ask them about their days and the things they love. Youve not only fallen for me, but my babies as well. You love watching me be a Mommy. Enough that you want us to make one of our own.

Youve taught me how to lwt someone love me. The right way. You will do absolutely anything to make me laugh, you alwsys know when I need a hug, you give me room and know when to be there, you will make or get me whatever my heart desires. You think Im smart, funny, stubborn as all hell (one of your favorite qualities of mine though) yet you love that I balance that out with a willingness to always evolve.

You are everything I never expected and everything I could want.

Learning lessons feels differently these days, for the most part at least. They now require (and now Im able to meet said requirement) me to be deliberate in thought, in word, and in action. Now, when breathless and at my wits end, I turn to problem solving.

The problem solving has a very distinct feel to it. Hollow, cold, liminal, uncomfortable, disconnected, familiar. I know the problem solving will only result in my growth- sometimes though, its really hard to keep it together, or act like Im keeping it together. Sometimes I dont want to have to keep it together.
