✦——————————————— KIM HIMCHAN : THE TRUEST THUG ———————————————✦
I am no longer ashamed of my strength. I leave a sharp taste in the mouth blood, vomit, salty tears. I am sick of apologizing, of being told that my bones should twist into sorries and my skin should sear with fingers holding me back. You no longer control me with your weakness.
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦
She quietly rolled her eyes as she tried her best to ignore the male behind her. Ever since she entered the café, this particular man has been bugging her about her phone number. And it seems that he thinks with a mere smile and that pretty dimples, he could make her sway like those other girls swarming around him. But no, she finds it weird for girls to be like that, there are so many men in this world, why let one man make you do weird things like embarrassing yourself in a café, giving death glares and cursing towards other females.
As she noticed him leaning back on his chair, a small smirk was seen on the girl’s face before she titled her head towards his way, obsidian eyes examining him as if he was an ancient species. She then shifts her gaze back towards the other girls who looked like she was going to kill her sooner or later, but she decided to ignore it. “How about you ask those girls their phone numbers instead of mine? They’ll probably give it to you before you even ask them…” Long frail fingers tucked strands of her copper blonde hair before she pointed towards the other females.
It deemed difficult to maintain his cool and "flirty" --you'd call it-- demeanor as he'd found himself wearing a deep frown, pursing his lips together as he'd looked around at the other eager girls that swarmed around him. Through their angry snarls and deadly stares, they'd become the least of his concern as he directed his attention back to the blond. He really didn't care much for females, nor did he think he cared that much for her. It was that fact that she'd become unattainable which riled him up. He felt as if it was a chase, and anyone that knew yixing knew that he was all for the chase. He shook off his irritance with a gentle laugh, as he'd rose to his feet, sauntering towards the table she'd been sitting at. "Look miss..." He paused there, his loss for words suddenly choking his air and he found himself unable to speak. Stuck on what to say. He furrowed his brows leaning forward against the table and turning his gaze away from her in order to make things easier. It wasn't her exactly that was making him nervous and the gesture may not have helped much, but still he did. "You're real pretty. And I think it'd be a loss to not only me, but you as well if I left here without so much as a number hm? It's all I'm asking for."
The sudden lack of space promptly sends up red flags and his words send the flags waving at a frantic pace, warning Yuko that danger could quite possibly dwell here. A multitude of thoughts swirl about her head in a short amount of time, things like "what if he’s some sort of escaped convict?" "what if he’s a mob leader?" "holy crap he could be an excommunicated member of the yakuza who somehow ended up in Seoul and somehow has immunity from the police force?" "shit, I could actually die here." "Oh come on I’m not ready to die yet I just turned 19, I’m not even legal yet what the hell man" "I still have raunchy clubs to go to for christs sake—-." The thoughts and worry that came with them occupied her mind so fully that she didn’t even notice when the strange, and possibly dangerous, man pulled away, allowing her the space she was accustomed to. It was only when he began speaking that she snapped out of her reverie. She blinked once, taking in her surroundings as if for the first time, before unhesitatingly taking off—-not bothering to even take in whatever it was the man was saying; her only concern at the moment was being able to live long enough to make it to a legal age so she could indulge in the pleasant Seoul nightlife later in the future.
A few meters into her walk and she began to feel safe, to breathe easier, a little smile of triumph had even found it’s way unto her lips as she mentally prided herself for being able to evade a possible undesirable situation. The feeling of assurance didn’t last long though, as lo and behold was the very person she’d escaped casually walking along besides her. Yuko paled, a new series of question popping up in her head. She wondered why it was she didn’t hear him approach him, was it gait was silent or that her attention was elsewhere—-or could there possibly be another reason? Her eyes widened as the idea came to her, it was a ridiculous one but it wasn’t too outlandish now was it? Afterall, in the movies these kind of things happened after the main character moved to a new place which they knew nothing about overall. She slowed in her steps, eventually coming to a halt as she stared at the back of his head, then at his eyes when he whipped his head about to face her, something of a pretentious expression on his face.
She swallowed, suddenly feeling as if a lump was lodged in her throat, before attempting to find her words. Her back straightened so that she appears brave, all expression blanked from her face safe for a hint of curiosity. “You—-you wouldn’t happen to be one of them, um, creatures of the night, now would you?”
He'd been traveling alongside her all this time, eyes facing directly ahead of him with the same wry grin he'd been wearing this whole time. It took him just one second after she'd stopped in her place for him to quickly turn on his heels, facing her with raised brows and a curious smile as he'd heard her question. "What?" Rethinking her words he'd laid his face in his palm, a small snicker causing his chest to rise and fall. It was amusing really.
"A creature of the night? Whattaya mean like... A vampire?" That earned another good chuckle outta him as he threw his head back and lurched forward slapping himself on the knee. "You've gotta be kidding right?" He'd asked her, head raising to meet eyes with her once more. Once he'd seen the seriousness in her expression his features stiffened, straightening himself out and turning his head away awkwardly. "Well I'm not. At all."
He'd begun to rethink following her to begin with, unsure of his own intentions. He let out a loud sigh of frustration which was mostly with himself as he'd quickly thought up how he'd solve this little problem. Figuring he should take a more gently approach he met her eyes awkwardly, forehead creased with worry. "Look I assure you, 'm not some kinda weirdo and I don't usually do this often. I have no intentions to hurt you I was just tryna help you out." Staring past her at the dark shades of the alleyway he pointed. "If you're tryna make it out of here that's the way to go."
her head had hung low, cupping her hot cheek in the center of her palm. she had never felt so oddly relaxedㅡ but there was some triggering tremors that bounced off her tense muscles. the pink undertones of her eyelids were stark against drained, ivory skin; blue veins being a bold color alike the veins of autumn leaves. the steady beating of her heart slows, and she runs both palms through tangled locks of her hair.
“. . yixing,” she says, a low mutter underneath her breath. jessica spoke in slurred vowels, and in ways where it was untimely. 'yixing' came off as 'yeesheen.' her eyes followed the bottle in his hands, and just the look of its tinted glass throbs against her temples. “justㅡ” she inhaled heavily, slapping her palm against the label of the glass. “shut. . fuckㅡ” her body nearly jerked forward. “upㅡ quietㅡ zip it. . just!” she hissed, clasping the same hand across the latter’s intoxicated lips. “. . shut.”
He was so far gone. So out of it. He'd barely been able to remember his name, so when the words slithered right off her tongue, slow and barely understandable Yixing had just narrowed his eyes even more, the whites of them barely visible now. "Who..... who is shtis?" He'd been trying to ask, but he could barely gather up the words due to his heavy intoxication. By the time he was able to remember what she'd said he couldn't remember what he was trying to say to begin with, and as she pressed her what felt like cold fingers against his lips he'd just let the thought slip past him. Eyes closing gently now as his head dropped back. Mouth hung open emitting somewhat of a snoring sound.
Is it [ me ]?
Am I the reason people {always} leave?
-she waves shyly and smiles-Hello -her tail slowly sways behind her- My name is Suzy
He’d started off trying to reciprocate the friendliness that the girl gave off, but was startled somewhat, eyes wide in disbelief as he’d spotted the swaying tale of the female before him earning a crease in his forehead. Brows raised he’d pointed a finger, “What is that?” He’d asked, eyes flickering up to the catlike ears that he’d just noticed sitting atop her head. “What are you?”It wasn’t that he’d been completely freaked out. After all there’d been a lot of things he’d seen in his travels that were completely inexplainable to him. However, that didn’t make them any less weird. “That some kind of costume you’re wearin’?” He’d started, chin tucked between his thumb and index finger as he’d tilted his head to peer over her shoulder at the tail once more. “Because if it is, whoever made it did the hell out of that. Very realistic.”
Well hello there, little padawan. I'm Sehun and I bet you a cake that you don't know that there's a species of fish called "Slippery Dick".

Hah. `rubs at his nape nervously; I just wanted to make sure my newly made friends wouldn't be runnin' away from me. We'd be tied at the wrist.

many people say they want to forget things in the past and start again,
but have you ever thought, without a past self, are you still yourself?
