it’s THE Roman Sanders birthday and i haven’t had time to make fanart. in the meantime,
Roman Headcanons from yours truly!! This man is my literal favorite i love him so much-
- Roman has a hundred and one prince costumes, but he wears the same one for videos because he loves the cartoon trope where the character wears the same thing. also because consistency, he’s an artist after all
- he used to practice dueling with Remus as kids, but now they don’t hang out. So he finally convinced Virgil to try and spar with him, being Fight or flight and all, and they actually have a great time.
-He sits for hours making up nickname for the videos scripts, but when he’s just hanging out they roll off the tongue naturally.
- he cannot cook for the life of him. hes actually banned from the kitchen. its not that he cant follow instructions, he just thinks his instructions are better
- when he’s creating something/painting/etc, he won’t wear his prince outfit or anything like that. he’ll usually wear paint covered musical tees from shows thomas has done. He refuses to be seen like this, and there are many a picture of him like this for black mail
- when he was just vision, him and remus had a whole “peter pan and his shadow” relationship. Like how peter pans shadow will sometimes leave or pull pranks, but doesn’t really talk. Remus would follow him around the same way
- Patton and Roman have self care days together. It’s not that they all don’t practice self care, but Roman and Patton both enjoy the same things. They do facemasks and fluffy disney movies together, while eating sweet treats.
- Roman, after finally FINALLY accepting Janus as a part of Thomas, will sing duets with him all the time. Mainly hero and villian duets, and on very rare occasions Roman will sing the villian part. they’re bonding <3
- he is in nearly every club for the arts you can think of, and spends almost all of his time away from home
-when he first met Virgil, Virgil refused to speak (selective mutism) so Roman said that’s alright, he’s just like Ariel. Virgil was extremely confused but also strangely flattered?
- Roman is ok with not getting casted as the lead, despite popular belief. with all the extracurriculars he does, it’s sometimes a relief.
-he loves to read and write fanfic. you can pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands. Virgil is his beta reader
- He helps Logan and Janus practice for their Debate club. Sometimes the club will need extra people to act as a victim or witness, so the Debaters?? can simulate a courtroom experience. Roman always volenteers.
- after they move out of their parents house, Roman and Remus try to get along at the insistence of the others. Turns out, they like the same things. Roman actually likes some of the scary movie/creepypasta/etc stuff Remus is obsessed with. he just was never allowed to like anything dark by his parents, because “he shouldn’t be like his brother. be better.”
- roman and remus finally talk about how their parents suck, which starts their bonding.
