Kris Kuksi’s “Amalgamation” at Joshua Liner Gallery.

Currently showing at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York City, New York is the 5th solo show by artist Kris Kuksi of brand new wall assemblages entitled “Amalgamation.”

The Kansas based artist focuses his work around industrialization and includes motifs of religion, mythology, nature, history and philosophy to create chaotically divine assemblages.  The immense scenes are constructed completely from molded toys, dolls, figurines and mechanical parts that he obsessively seeks out by scouring the Internet and visiting thrift stores.

“Amalgamation” is on display until November 14th, 2015 and should absolutely be sought out if one is in New York.  Description of any type do the pieces very little.  They must be seen.

Funassyi is going off to Iceland on Sunday with Chicchai Ossan, where they will try to catch an aurora. It’s a maximum 1 week trip since he’s scheduled to appear at an event next Sunday. Let’s hope they’re not too rushed, and that Funassyi and Chicchai Ossan both stay healthy and safe.
