how I think the digital circus characters would play deltarune

pomni: determined to uncover every last detail so she keeps going back on save files, "hacks" the game to find secret dialogue

ragatha: refuses to play the weird route and will befriend every recruit, a perfect, wholesome player. berdly kind of reminds her of jax but she's too nice to tell him that

jax: will ONLY play the weird route and obnoxiously laughs when berdly gets snowgraved. picks the meanest dialogue option for ralsei every time including "good. Keep smiling" because ralsei reminds him of ragatha

kinger: no one understands how but he keeps accidentally stumbling onto the secret bosses without any hints and defeats them first try

gangle: oh you KNOW she's been a suselle shipper since day one... really deep into the shipping side of things, has drawn fanart of every conceivable pairing in the game. really bad at the actual gameplay though.

zooble: isn't all that interested in the game but will help gangle get past the hard bosses <3

Harmony’s mother’s health deteriorated from the labor, and watched her child start down the same path. There was no forgiveness for an inescapable situation - they were condemned to hell by Lumon.

Harmony’s mother became an atheist.

Eternal hell was irrelevant if there was no chance for absolution. If hell existed, they were already in it.

okay quick my last minute tadc ep 7 predictions 7h before it drops (mostly jax centric sorry i think he's going to be really important in this one)

jax will not abstract. all the marketing around this has been way too blatant and feels more like intentional misdirection than foreshadowing (i am getting clowned to hell if it turns out I'm wrong)

someone else might abstract. maybe gangle. no clue honestly

jax has something devastatingly plot-essential in his room. maybe his room is plastered wall to wall with escape plans - he's been secretly trying to find the exit this whole time. OR: his room is connected to the void

jax will do something unforgiveable. crackpot theory: the exit is found, and jax, for whatever reason, can't leave, though others can. he destroys the exit so he won't be left alone in the circus, ruining everyone else's hope at escape. actually this theory doesn't even make sense nvm but imagine the angst potential

it starts off as a normal beach adventure and suddenly caine glitches and the circus also disappears/goes dark. maybe triggered by something someone said to him about his adventures being hated, like one of zooble's crashouts or something

the "way to leave" is by making caine, the ai programme, crash. that way he'll no longer have control over them, the whole circus "lags" and they can make it to the edge without him pulling them back. they achieve this by telling him he'll never understand what it means to be human or something

mannequin guy is an npc who gained sentience and helps the gang figure out how to escape - maybe the npcs come preprogrammed with insider info. the voice in the trailer might be them.

alternatively mannequin guy could be a human that mistakenly got put into an npc body - which let them sneak around without caine's supervision. either way I think they are there to help, not hurt.

OR: the voice is kaufmo/ribbit, and abstraction isn't the "death" everyone's been led to believe but something more

going crazy over how no one else is talking about how SUSIE of all people has so much poet/writer imagery in ch4

thinking abt how jax can't even have a mental breakdown in the bathroom without being confronted by his own reflection. as the viewers we've never seen the cast in their human bodies, but imagine how it feels to suddenly see a cartoon figure every time you look in the mirror. you look so stupid, have no sense of self, and can't even take your own emotions seriously. no wonder jax has to use humour to cope.
