We have posted another opinion on this topic. Check it out.
In my brother’s room of the house we grew up in, there was a framed poster on the wall of his hero, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys. He was sweaty and angry and aggressive and that’s all I needed to know. When I was much younger and...
Couldn't disagree more with this post. Coming from someone who sees a different hardcore scene every single night for 8+ months a year, hardcore is in a really good place. Your qualm seems to be with the Internet, and I'm not too sure what you plan to accomplish or change by posting on the Internet about your problems with the Internet. It's a naive and unrealistic idea to compare the hardcore scene now to the way it was over twenty years ago. Like my friend Tony, I've been doing this for quite a while. If what's going on in some Facebook group is ruining hardcore for you, you must not be very invested in it. You get back what you put in, and if all you have to offer is some long winded rant pigeon-holing kids who wear five panel hats, don't expect to get much. Is it against some sort of hardcore code for kids to post their opinions or thoughts in a Facebook group? I've always thought that a forum for open discussion was a pretty good use of the Internet. If you don't wanna read it, don't look at it. I don't have a Facebook, but I do spend more nights at shows than I don't and hardcore is alive and well.
Just sat the guys from Expire and didn't even realize it until they left.

Our guitar player Zach briefly fronted a band called Steppin Stone. Our drummer Marcus plays drums in a really cool band called Daisy Chain. Check it out here www.daisychainmilwaukee.bandcamp.com
