The Canadian Senate has passed an amendment to a transgender rights bill that would ban trans people from using the bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity. Now, trans people in Canada (and their trans supporters in the United States) are sharing photos on Twitter and Facebook of themselves in public bathrooms they would be legally obligated to use under Senator Donald Plett’s bill. Well I’ve totally failed at blogging/editing/posting this week! It has been frustrating project wise and I haven’t felt very ~inspired~. Hopefully this week will be better! 

Since my tudor costume is getting close to completion it’s time to start on the foundation garments for another project. I’m going to making a chemise/stays/petticoat to go underneath an eighteenth century riding habit and dress. 

I’m using a pattern from Norah Waughs “Corsets and Crinolines” I copied it to paper and fabric so now it’s time for sewing lots of boning channels!
