I didnât have the exact ingredients but Iâll see how this turns out. Iâm using @kimerakoffeeâs seed stack with flax, sesame, hemp and chia, a scoop of Nutzo, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, milk and just some regular ol instant oats. ă»ă»ă» @fitlodenver âDAY 7 of the #DenverFitmas Instagram Challenge! Today we take a break from the workouts and share a delicious and nutritious recipe from @monicasalafia.rd. This recipe is tremendous fuel for both your muscles and your brain! BLUEBERRY HEMPSEED OVERNIGHT OATS INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup rolled oats 2-3 tsp chia seeds 3/4 c unsweetened almond milk 2-3 tbsp cashew yogurt, vanilla bean flavor 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional, but recommended) 2 tsp hemp seeds 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries . DIRECTIONS: Add all ingredients except blueberries to jar and stir. Top with blueberries and place in the fridge overnight. Makes 1 serving. Repeat 3-4 times if youâre meal prepping! "

YOUR CHALLENGE 10-12 Reps of each exercise (How to do these moves without the wall below and demonstrated in our Insta Story!) - 1) BEAST POSITION KICKBACK A. Get into Beast Position (hands under shoulders, knees just in front of hip crease B. Lift knee's slightly off the ground⯠C. While keeping abs tight and back flat -drive knee forward to chest - kick back and up 2) SQUAT TO OVERHEAD PRESS: A. Hold one DB (OR canned food, water jug) right by shoulder B. Squat low with legs to 90 degrees C. As you come out of squat, bring DB overhead into a press with a tight core 3) TRICEP DIPS: A. Off the side of a chair or couch, lower the hips down toward the ground, the goal is 90 degrees of elbow flexion B. Press up to extend the arms 4) HIP THRUST: A. Butt touching the ground to start - heel placed just under the knee B.Press through the heels to lift the hips. C. If you use a band, be sure that the band around your knees does not collapse them in 5) REVERSE FLY: A.Using 2 dumbbells, cans or water bottles, bring them from directly below your chest to level with your shoulders by squeezing your shoulder blades together B. Try to keep the arms mostly straight and maintain a bent-over position BONUS: HOLLOW BODY BAND PULL APARTS: A. Lying on yout back, press your low back into the ground while raising the feet and shoulders B. Pull band or towel into chest . . . . . YOUR CHALLENGE: 1) BOOTY BLASTERS (aka QUADRUPED HIP EXTENSIONS), PeRform 100 reps each leg w/ body weight or add a 5 lb. ankle weight. 2) Double Walking Lunges: Step and PeRform one lunge at a full range-of-motion plus a 1/2 lunge. Step together and step forward with other leg. Continue alternating for 50 reps. 3) Pop Squats: Begin w/ legs together.  Jump- landing in a squat, jump back to starting position. PeRform 25 reps 4) One Legged Hip Thrust: Begin with your back on the floor, legs bent w/ heels under your knees. Lift one foot off the floor, keeping hips square (don't drop your hips to one side) and thrust the opposite hip up towards the ceiling. Push your heel into the floor as you drive your hip up and squeeze (contract) your glute hard! PeRform 25 reps each side . . . . . .
