SE23 - Forest Hill 

The Ashberry Cottage in Honor Oak Road. The blue plaque says: Here lived, William, Duke of Clarence, later King William IV and Mrs Dorothea Jordan, actress. Not a bad effort for a pretty townhouse.

SE19 - Gipsy Hill

One of the things that I love the most about London is the name of each different town located in its borders. Some of them are really unusual (see Nunhead, Elephant and Castle), most of them are inextricably linked to the history of the place, all of them are extremely evocative. 

One of my all time favourites definitely has to be Gipsy Hill, although I never visited it before yesterday (but I often secretly imagined how cool it would sound if it was my address). 

Of course, all hints of gipsy life are long gone, but this place seems to have skipped the process of modernisation and gentrification.

I haven’t pushed myself too far, but from where I was (walking towards Norwood Park) I couldn’t see much but rows of Victorian townhouses. In the town centre Tescos and Sainsbury’s aren’t to be found - But if you are looking for a shoe repairer, a “Ladies & Gentlemen” tailor or an “Essential General Store”, well you are in luck. They’re all in the main street.

SE22 - East Dulwich

Goose Green is loosing its leafy blanket already. I can’t believe how quickly Autumn went. Colours are still gorgeous though.

I have a crush on this place. I mean I love everything plants..and big windows... and neon signs.. <3  I am sure I am not the only one, this is one of the most instagrammed shops of all SE London for a reason!

SE15 - Peckham

The Bussey Building & the Copeland Park area just behind it. One of the biggest creative hubs in South London and one of the most beautiful too. It features stunning studio spaces, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, cocktail bars and even a record shop and a club.
