Can someone please help me get the breaking point achievement?! I know it’s really hard o did a whole replay to try and get it and it still didn’t work. I went home to the estate day one I was nice about her house I talked to her at the mines and waited for her, I ratted on Isaac’s (sorry man in order for tabby to like me it seems I have to be a class traitor) and I invited her ghost hunting and sacrificed years of her life for me, and yet I still couldn’t get her to cry! Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong?!?!
I'm not sure what the exact choices needed for it are, but I have a save where she breaks down very quickly and these were the broader choices I did in prior episodes that I will copy paste the maybe relevant parts here. Hopefully this is helpful?? Note though this is an RP run and not a minmaxed run so there's probably way more effective ways to get the breakdown, but this one did end up leading to the Tabitha breakdown. Was very happy with it because the entire playthrough felt like playing through a proper hostile-estranged-cousins-to-kind-of-friendship arc.

Traits are Book Smart + Hot (My MC Cyrille, she/her)
(Monday, during first introduction to Tabitha and the tour) Asked about the bad blood between them in the car but didn't get an answer. Acted polite and tried to bond with her cousin a little bit, despite the horrible state of the estate. At the end of the tour she asked Tabitha why she was acting so pissed, and she said she had been an acceptable guest.
(Monday) Agreed to go to the diner with Stella, and joined her for Skunk Ape hunt.
(Monday) Major choice: Gretchen ended up dying, she shot Gretchen.
(Monday) Stayed over at Stella's house.
(Tuesday) Sauntered out half-clothed, zero shame. Pushed back against Tabitha bossing Stella around in her own home, so Stella stayed, and wasn't happy about Tabitha trying to boss her around as well. Argued there ARE things in the woods!! Was all things considered happy she stayed at Stella's instead of heading back to the estate.
(Tuesday) Did not drink the tea.
(Tuesday) At the mines. Spoke to two groups of miners and grilled them for info, before going up to speak to Tabitha. Visited Tabitha, tried to tell her about Wayne and a potential mine collapse, but the whole thing turned out to be a waste of time.
(Tuesday) Called Tabitha and waited for her. Focused on everyone getting out of there once they were in the mines.
(Tuesday) Major choice: Saved the kids, Rosalina injured.
(Tuesday) After the mines. Did not say a word to the cops. Told Kaneeka and Stella she'd text them. In the car she did not apologize because it wasn't her fault, and said she'd love to learn more about Tabitha when she started opening up and that there sure were a lot of adults who should've done a better job. I think I picked some other option here as well but I didn't write it down and cannot remember off the top of my head.
(Wednesday) In the morning, lead by saying hi to Janey. Thanked her for the church offer, but said she wasn't Christian. Politely said goodbye instead of asking followup questions since Tabitha didn't seem to be in such a great mood.
(Wednesday) Hangout choice: Tabitha. Bonded with her, there's probably a separate guide for this somewhere. I didn't write down Cyrille's specific choices here and they were probably not very optimized either way. TLDR though; was nice but also kind of pushy. Also did not learn about the strike. Or did and didn't snitch? Either way, no snitching.
(Wednesday) Invited Avery and Tabitha.
(Wednesday) Major choice: Used booksmart to gaslight the ghost into leaving.
(Wednesday) Car ride home with Tabitha: Thanked Tabitha for coming along, expressed excitement about ghosts being real, did NOT ask if Tabitha trusted her now because that's lowkey a trick question.
(Wednesday) After the car ride: Checked with Tabitha if she thinks Stella is okay, she said yeah because she's a pest and pests always come back. Asked about Wayne, didn't learn much other than Tabitha not wanting to talk about him. Didn't press more about it since it seemed like Tabitha wasn't going to let up either way.
(Thursday) Offered to help smooth things over with the strike, because god knows Tabitha is all edges. Didn't offer other opinions because she's still a stranger in the town and they got bigger problems.
(Thursday) Visiting the mines: Asked how the strike is going and what their grievances are, offered to share them with Tabitha in return for being let inside. Didn't get threatened by Tabitha, shared the miners grievances. Said it's not the end of the world if the mine fails. Said she'd missed Tabitha today and they made plans to have ice cream in the evening. Did not snitch on Rodriguez.
(Thursday) Went into the tearoom with Sybil but did not drink any tea. Visited Kaneeka but was not let into the room after suggesting they go to the clinic together.
(Thursday) Called Tabitha at the clinic for help. Used Hot to save the day, and prevent Tabitha from killing Reese.
(Thursday) Tabitha lead them to Stella and all three of them spoke together, leading to Stella opening up.
(Thursday) Ice cream time :)
With the way this game works there's probably a hundred micro-choices made inbetween this that influenced the breakdown, but these are the ones I kept in my character tracker (relevant to Tabitha anyway).
I don't know if the confrontation options I chose will help much on different runs, but here are the options I chose:
"I need to see Tabitha. Maybe there's an explanation for what I've witnessed." > Knock first. > "I know about the family secrets, Tabitha. It's time for us to finally talk." > (Explore) "I found our family medical records yesterday..." > (Explore) (Book Smart) "Sleep apnea? No autopsy? Found by her daughter? Come on, Tabitha." > Leads to breakdown.
