Mike Flanagan's The Woman In Black: Arthur manages to reunite Jennet and Nathaniel's ghosts, and they walk off into the sunset together holding hands.
Mike Flanagan's We Have Always Lived In The Castle: Constance and Merricat hug it out.
Mike Flanagan's The Ring: Reiko adopts Sadako's ghost and raises her with Yoichi.
If you guys don't start behaving I'm going to turn off reblogs for this post. This post is about launching matchbox cars into your wall at high enough speeds to lodge them there. Nobody cares about how strong the walls in your house are, and I'm suddenly learning that a lot of people on this webbed site don't know what drywall is, but none of that matters.
The only thing that matters is shoot cars into your wall.
The Enigma of Amigara Fault
This short story by Junji Ito is about a fault that appears in Amigara mountain after an earthquake. The earthquake exposes countless human-shaped holes in the mountain which seem to have been made about a thousand years ago. People, intrigued by these silhouettes, gather at the site and that’s when things get creepy.
It’s about a 15-20 min read, but if you haven’t read this before, you’re in for a treat. Link above.
i mean it’s not like i can just NOT reblog amigara fault. what if one of my followers is one of the lucky ten thousand who HASN’T been unutturably altered for life by it yet? go read it! it’s creepy, but trust me, it was made for you.
[ID: The cover page of “The Enigma of Amigara Fault.” It’s in black and white and shows the main character, Owaki, hiking with a mildly suspicious frown as a frowning woman, Yoshida, stands behind her with her arms slightly spread. Behind them is a rock face with holes distinctly shaped like human beings. End ID]
Fandomites will be like "the omegaverse is often used for complex explorations of gender and parenthood" and the complex explorations in question is often extreme fantasy misogyny through the compelling lens of "what if men were harmed by the patriarchy the exact same way women are and also every misogynistic ideal is somewhat true in this universe"

it should be illegal for people to be in the kitchen at the same time as me
not to be a buzzkill but i kinda hate when i see a video of teenagers goofing off or construction workers having fun and people in the replies are like "now THIS is what 'boys will be boys' should mean!" goofing off isn't a boys exclusive activity......... why did you immediately tie it to their boy-ness....... what's going on there huh............

i really love watching all these old incredibly critically acclaimed movies i know truly jack shit about it's fun. truly anything can happen in them. it's really magical to watch a movie you don't know is gonna have columbo in it have columbo in it.
"black and white film stream of consciousness film about an immortal angel who watches over the people of west berlin until he falls in love with a trapeze artist" sounds like the punchline to one of those jokes about pretentious foreign cinema. but what that doesn't tell you is that columbo is also there.
