Here's a website where Palestine GoFundMes are vetted and shared that you can send out to people. The url is gazafunds.com
Easy to use and simple. Just share the site whenever someone asks for GFMs for Palestine.

[ IT'S COLD IN HERE. COLDER THAN IT SHOULD BE. RIPPLES OF ICE COLD AIR, LATCHING ONTO EXTREMITIES. MY MIND IS FROZEN. MY HEART IS LOST. ] the dying firelight only illuminates her face now, the rest of the room was eaten away by the darkness that consumes the world. midnight, she guessed. perhaps later. her tired eyes told the story: sixteen infected today. maybe they're getting more abundant, or maybe they're getting braver. [ IS THAT BRAVERY? LEAVING THE SHADOWS, FINDING NEW PLACES TO RAVAGE AND NEW PEOPLE TO DESTROY? THEY'RE NOT BRAVE. THEY AREN'T ANYTHING. ] she's counting through her arrow stock when ish speaks ... they're dwindling, three or four lost to the undergrowth, or the horde. over her shoulder, the look of concern: " where are you going? "
i totally forgot that walton goggins was in tomb raider
i think i worry too much about aesthetics and then when i can't pin down an aesthetic, i feel like i can't write, which seems silly because since when do my headers and icons equal my muse? literally never BUT my multi is going to remain low-effort in terms of graphics, it'll be icon free and i hope that's ok because i just can't be arsed lmfao. AND THEN ...

META FOUR .. CORDYCEPS SYMBIOSIS INSPIRATION TAKEN FROM THE TELEVISION ADAPTATION OF THE GAME, WHEREIN CORDYCEPS ACTS AS A NETWORK
this information links directly to meta one and is an extension of this post, which describes the progression of the cordyceps infection in ellie's brain, and the symptoms that become more prevalent and extreme over time.
when ellie was first bitten, it awoke the cordyceps infection within her. although she has been immune since birth, it took the bite to ignite what is essentially the infection. she doesn't lose herself, but rather loses parts of herself in a slower, similar way to the infected. it's not clear, but the assumption is that one day, ellie will succumb to her infection.
the cordyceps fungi acts as a network. everything is interlinked, a symbiotic organism that acts and lives as a hive. many individuals that make up one. from birth, ellie was a silent member of that hive, but since being bitten she has become more intertwined with the network. the network itself can sense her presence, although weakly, but become awoken from stasis if she is near. it's like a lightning shock: they can't tell exactly where or when she is, but they can sense something.
over time, this sense increases alongside the cordyceps progression in ellie's brain. eventually, she will draw them to her, like a moth to a flame.
THE LAST OF US PART II: Ellie's journal entry (2/?)
when ellie said 😠 i get that
ellie actually draws the infected to her, like a moth to a flame. they sense the cordyceps in her brain stem. one of the things i loved the most about the show is the way the infected are portrayed, as a symbiotic system of fungi. in that sense, ellie is within that network simply by having the cordyceps infection.
