THIRTY MINUTES of just Jax, in a 53 minute film.

I don’t want to know more about this damn rabbit. I want to know more about Pomni, about Zooble and Ragatha, Queenie, and the programmers. And you don’t even get that!

A lot of things are just outright ridiculous. Pomni managed to get into Jax’s brain after he abstracts by just hugging him in the dark. How. How did she know she needed to do that? How did she know that would even work? And it’s not like there’s anything that actually gets brought up in there. Just fantasies of what-if certain members abstract that are just Jax making fun of a member, choking them, or in Gangle’s case sexually harassing them. I will never shut up about that Gangle scene.

So yeah, Jax probably killed his mom. What does this introduce to the story? He abuses women because he killed his mom? I find it strange how his real world counterpart isn’t paying the price for that. Like in that scene where Caine is showing them how their real world counterparts are doing it literally doesn’t explain what actually happened to Jax’s mom. Like, the man probably killed her, and he’s just, moving on I guess. Then the rabbit just dies, yeah, the suicidal rabbit committed suicide and then they put him in a tent as a pet. And the corpses of the abstracted are just put into an aquarium.

Why did Queenie abstract, why did Caine get nervous when Kinger brought up Scratch’s abstraction in episode 7.

Why does Caine come back, why does deletion land you in the Void. How did he have WiFi to search up the humans on instagram…?

And the guy just pulls out his mental illness (Blue AI) out of his head and suddenly he’s all good and everyone’s all good with him too. Why was Blue even the reason behind him going full AM anyway? Wasn’t it established in episode 8 that it was due to the fact his ego was hurt (and he got ragebaited by bubble?)

Speaking of bubble, WHERE IS HE?

I…enjoyed it…….please dont kill me its probably bc I watch hazbin hotel so my expectations are LOW.the only thing I hate is nost of the jax realted stuff and the fact that its hinted at that he had a crush on ribbit(WHY r they built like that they just gave sad dead crush material) and that hes somewhat sexiest as a harmful coping mechanism from the abuse he got from his mom.

Over twenty years ago my big brother got me a job at a Taco Bell in the St. Louis suburbs-West County. He warned me that it was the “gay Taco Bell”, but since I was coming from the “gay Howard Johnson’s” I wasn’t shocked. It turns out it was the black trans women Taco Bell complete with black trans women in management. And they’d worked out an arrangement with the local teen Narcotics Anonymous group so that twice a week we would shut down the drive thru and the dining room and exclusively serve 60+ teens in various stages of recovery. And many of the women I worked with were in various stages of being out or transitioning and they were from all generations from teens to over 50. One woman I worked with had a regular corporate job presenting as a man 9-5 Mon-Fri and then came to Taco Bell and worked 6pm -2am Friday and Saturday night so she could be herself surrounded by other black transwomen in those stolen weekends. And we had customers come from all over the metro area because they knew they could be themselves in the dining room. I only worked there from 1999-2001 but for young me, this was a vital, formative experience. Some of the girls came from north city all the way out to the “gay Taco Bell” on Manchester in west county because they heard it was safe to work there. Like- I know times have changed but they haven’t changed much in 20 years. I’m still convinced that for lgbt youth, finding a job at your city’s version of the “gay Taco Bell” is key to survival.

Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism aren’t marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
