🌱Henna Tattoo🌱

Good day witches and warlocks!

As you all know we cope with different situations with different methods. When I know I will have to hold a presentation, take an exam or something like that, I write a sigil on my skin. 

As you can see I usually use write them with a waterproof eyeliner but last time I tried out henna instead of eyeliner and I just love it! It lasts for weeks and it’s color is beautiful. So I thought I’d shae it’s recipe with you all, my Dear. 

RECIPE:

2tbs henna powder

1tbs clove powder

2tbs sugar

half cup of lavender tea

PROCESS: 

[1.] Brew a strong lavender tea.

[2.] Put the sugar into thee tea until it’s completely dissolved. 

[3.] Mix together the henna and clove powder. 

[4.] Add half of the liquid to the powder mix spoon by spoon.

[5.] Mix it well.

[6.] If it’s needed add more liquid until the paste is dark green and looks like a mini swamp monster slime. 

[7.] Wash the area where you would like to draw your pattern.

[8.] Draw your pattern. 

   -  Note: If it’s a sigil, charge it too!

[9.] Let it dry at least 8 hours.

   -  Note: I usually cover it with a ccosmtic cotton pad and put a glove on or stick it down with a bandage so the pattern will stay in place.

[10.] Aftr minimum 8 hours remove the dried henna paste with your hands.

   -  WARNING:  Do not wash it down! Itwill make your tattoo fade faster!

[11.] Optional: Put on some oil or lemon juice to your new tattoo.

[12.] Avoid water touching your skin where the tattoo is for at least 24 hours.    -    -  Note: 36 hours is better.

I am gonna draw mine tonight and I’ll show you the result too. (^v^)

Time

Why does time stop us from being with each other? "I'll be there in five minutes" you say; but five minutes drags into a thousand years. Feeling the empty space beside me where you will be sitting in five minutes. And what if something happens? Five minutes could change in five seconds. Time has a funny way of making a week feel like a month and a month stretch to a year.

Why does time suddenly grow wings and fly when I’m with you? When we get to be together, why should we hold each other as if time is going to swoop in and steal you from me like a thief?

Who's time telling? Why can it just happen already? Why do we wait for time to catch up to us when we're ready to go?

At night, time slows down when you can’t sleep. I listen to you breathe knowing that it will take me hours to fall asleep just to wake up to you leaving.

You and I, we’re the sun and the moon. For your smile could shine as bring as the sun and blind us all with your beauty. And my eyes, are as silver as the moon, glowing whenever is see you.

As the moon is to the sun, i am to you, forever chasing you; only to be together for short periods of time.

And when I finally catch up to you, our site is magnificent. It’s beautiful. We, together, can light the skies. Us.

My Superpower

Sometimes I do it on purpose, most of the time it's by accident. I could be standing right in front of you and you see right through me.

Sometimes when I really need you to see me, my powers kick in and then I'm gone. And you won't find me, you can try. Many have. I have vanished without a trace.

Invisibility. That's my speciality. I wish I had a different power. But beggars can't be choosy, or something like that... even right now, I can hear you looking for me. You won't find me. You never do. It's like playing hide and seek with air.

Sometimes I will scream at the top of my lungs for someone, anyone, to find me. To make me visible. But it doesn't happen. I mean miracles only happen once. I use to love being invisible. Hidden from conflict. But then I met you, and you saw me. And now I dont like being invisible.

So please, come find me.

I’m Tired.

7:30am Wake up, then I eat, then brush my teeth, then go to work and get mentally drained as people treat me like I know nothing, then I go home, I eat, I brush my teeth and then bed. Day in, day out. I’m tired. I have no self esteem when it comes to trying new things because it’s not in my routine that has been drilled into my head for years now.  Started University and I’m facing a new routine which is killing me. New people. New environment. Why can’t I be normal? Just enjoy it? Because that isnt how my life has been. I don’t do “fun”things. Because I’m scared I’ll get in trouble? I’m 20 and still in the shadow of my mother who constantly reminds me how little I am and how I can’t even wipe my own ass without doing something wrong. 

I’m tired. I’m tired of feeling little. Feeling useless. An outcast in a sea of other outcasts.

My Friends, A Warm Introduction.

I have two friends that will never leave me. They’ve been with me since I was born. We go hand in hand and fight all the time. But when you have friends like mine, fighting with them is natural. We don’t always get along but they protect me from the outside world. 

My first friend, who is my main friend, shes shy. She likes to be out of the public eye and away from conflicts. She gets nervous when faced with a physical task which involves talking to new people. She doesn’t enjoy leaving her comfort zone. That’s not saying she won’t do it, because she will. It just takes a long time for her to do it. Maybe longer than others. Going to the bank to deposit a cheque would be the equivalent to public speaking to millions of people for her. Shes very timid and protective of me. She argues a lot with me on how I present myself in front of people, and she would rather we just stayed in and watch a movie by ourselves. She asks me a lot of questions when I’m deciding something, which usually ends in the both of us just giving up on the decision and giving it to others to decide. Which we them get in trouble for because it has annoyed other. But shes my friend and I like her quirks. 

My other friend, well shes a bit different. Shes a good friend of my other friend, they are inseparable one might say. I’ve just gotten to know this one although shes always been around. She’s a bit gloomy at times, and doesn’t think much about herself. She likes her music loud and mood suiting. She loves to be asleep. In fact, she once slept for 32 hours straight! Shes fussing when eating, shes never really hungry but knows that she has to have something. We usually agree on crackers or veggies. This friend of mine cries, an awful lot. And decided on her own that life wasn’t for her. Luckily she didn’t research the pills she took and didn’t have serious injuries from taking the bottle but emotionally I feel shes grown. She reminds me a lot about how life is rather difficult but I remind her that we are a team and can in fact live together. 

They both really enjoy spending time with my girlfriend. And my girlfriend acknowledges their existence. Finding someone who will hide with you when you don’t want to be found, someone who will sit down and tell you that life is a mess, but a mess we can both clean up together, that someone makes my other friend feel like life could be worth something more than a struggle.     

Living with Anxiety and Depression isn’t easy, but it also isn’t impossible. You are not depressed or anxious, you have anxiety and depression. They are with you, they are not who you are. You are much more than anxious or depressed. Behind every forced smile, or forced interaction with people, are your friends, who aim to protect you but they only know how to do it their way. You can show them that you can do more, with them. They will always be there, all you need to focus on is working together to be the best you can be.

Be the best you can be. Work with your mental quirks. Don’t deny they are there, it’ll just be harder to find a way out of the dark.
