Picking soundtracks for all occasions imaginable is one of my more obscure hobbies, and I have been thinking about how to utilize it for some time. So how about this? It’s kinda like a moodboard request, but for a playlist, ya feel me?

I’ll try to aim for 3-10 songs, but I tend to pluck my playlists over a long time very carefully, with a lot of thought… so if all I’ve got is One Perfect Tune, I might come back to you with that.

♪ + a character - OCs too, of course! But in that case tell me a little about them so I can pick some songs more wisely! Fictional places, fandoms and other broader concepts are also game. But if researching your prompt would spoil something for me that I’m interested in, I might skip it or work around it.

When Adam bit the apple he did it because he trusted Eve. Because he loved her. Adam bit into the apple because the woman he loved told him to, no matter what God said. No matter the rules of heaven. What’s heaven to a woman’s love anyway? What’s God to your wife? The first sins of humanity, were trusting others. Eve trusted a snake, Adam trusted Eve, and I trust you. Maybe that’s a sin, just like the first couple. Maybe everyone’s right about us and we’re sinners and we offend God. But like I said, what’s God to a woman’s love anyway? What has heaven got that I can’t find sitting next to you on a cool autumn morning?

I love being asexual. I love being demisexual specifically. I love the way I interact with my sexuality and the way I interact with the world through a lens of my sexuality. I love how my sexuality has played into my current relationship. I love having a partner who is 100% supportive and loves me and my asexuality. I love the days when I’m very sex-positive ace. I love the days when I’m more sex-repulsed. I love how my asexuality has impacted my gender expression. I love the friends I’ve been able to have really meaningful conversations about being ace with. I love that my experience growing up wasn’t typical, and while it wasn’t always ideal, I love the way it shaped me into the person I am now. I love being asexual and I love being queer and I love that I would be queer even if I was completely cishet other than my asexuality. I love the inherent queerness of being asexual. I love my asexual identity. happy pride.

people. never lose your magic. stop worrying about what people will think of you.

if you want to sit in the middle of a clover patch to search for a four leaf clover on the side of a road, do it. don't worry about what the people in cars will think of you.

if you want to climb a tree, do it. its not childish.

if you want to wade into mud to get a cool stick you saw, do it. who cares what dog walkers think.

if you want to stand outside in the pouring rain and feel the fresh drops on your face, do it. the people in houses won't care.

if you want to crouch down in grass and look at all the bugs hiding in the dirt, do it.

if you want to go do a ritual in the woods, do it.

stop worrying about what passers-by will think. stop worrying about being seen. our fears of what others will think is constricting us and stopping us from experiencing things like we did when we were children. don't lose your curiosity and magic.

y’all please remember your parent’s being abused by their parents does not excuse what they did to you, even if it “wasnt as bad” as whatever they went through. your dad getting hit as a kid did not give him the right to scream at you till you cried and just because he didn’t hit you doesn’t mean it wasnt also abuse. your mom invading your privacy and betraying your trust in her and trying to get you to do things out of guilt for her lost childhood is still abuse. you are not responsible for fixing something you had no part in causing and im sorry anyone ever made you feel that way.
