The beauty before the cruelty
Fading beauty I love the beauty of fall. All the pretty colors and nice temperatures, cozy spaces and fun activities bely the cruel and cold approach of winter. This tree blossomed so beautifully only to have its vibrant colors slowly stripped away. The skeletal frame which will be left standing will be cruel plummeted by Old Man Winter’s cold, knarly hands and icy breath. Happy Fall! 🍁🍂

Memories of summer
These shots are from a late summer evening’s walk with my family along the canal in Baker’s Park (Frederick, Maryland). Throughout the entire coronavirus pandemic, I have been so afraid to take my toddler out.
