Hello! I’d like to take a brief moment to step out of character and explain what this account is all about.

As someone who is most definitely neurospicy, I’ve combined two of my favorite things: Skyrim and storytelling.

I’ve played vanilla Skyrim for years, and no matter how much time passes, I’m still in awe of its natural beauty. The intricate details, the atmospheric storytelling, the way I’m still discovering new things in this delightfully buggy game—it never stops amazing me.

For months, I’ve been capturing Skyrim’s landscapes, completely enamored by how well Bethesda brought its world to life. The skies, the flora, the fauna—it’s all breathtaking, even without mods. I knew I couldn’t keep these pictures to myself, but I also didn’t want to just post them without context.

So, I created this account for my current in-game character, Faelynn—a hunter-druid Bosmer—to tell the stories of her travels and share the sights she’s seen. And really, who better than a druid to take you on a journey through the wilds?

While I do lightly edit these photos to create a gentler, moodier aesthetic, what you’ll see here is pure Skyrim—unmodded and unfiltered in its original beauty.

It is here, in these earliest hours, that I find the Temple of Kynareth at its quietest. The doors open with the soft groan of wood well-worn by time, and within, the air is thick with the scent of crushed tundra cotton and juniper incense. The light spills through the windows in bands, illuminating the simple beauty of the place.

Kynareth’s breath touches all things—the wind across the plains, the rivers carving their paths through the Reach, the very life pulsing beneath my fingertips. It is a comfort to feel only what is—untouched, unaltered. Nature in its rawest, truest form.

And so too shall these pages remain, capturing the world as it was spun into being, unshaped by any hand but that of the Divines.”
