12.09.20 / i feel like reading is one of the most ignored steps when learning a language because it’s easy to get discouraged when encountering a lot of unknown vocabulary, but reading is precisely the way to  acquire more words within context and usage!! i usually start by reading the text out loud and highlight words i don’t know. after i look them up, i reread the page again. even if it’s a slow crawl, don’t be disheartened!! take it one page at a time. enjoy the process and let time do it’s work! happy saturday ♡

So, I got the flu. Yes, those are my feet wrapped in a blanket on the table. My bed is unmade, but I’m posting it for the aesthetic. Because I can. Anyway. Biology is great. Biology is good. I’m obsessed with watching Doctor Mike on youtube, it’s a problem. Reading is still (barely) getting done.

I will be working on my creative business all summer so currently just crunching numbers and hoping beyond hope I will be able to afford to survive. I am truly going to be a starving artist until March 2020 whoop.
