Video games are more complicated to preserve than most other forms of media. It’s easier to preserve movies since most of them are some kind of video format, but video games are made with specific hardware in mind, and you can’t easily just play super nintendo games on a computer unless you had some kind of program to run it.

I feel like those obnoxious Youtube channels that ride off of clickbait and trends put iPhone giveaways at the start of every video just to encourage people to like comment and subscribe to increase their algorithm boost, but never actually give out any iPhones.

It's so crazy how "Don't feed the trolls" was like the Motto of the internet & in forum culture of the 00s and early 10s and now you log onto a certain website and it's just an endless sea of people pouring gruel into the troll trough day in day out and no one seems to realize or care that their internet experience being a constant deluge of misery and bad faith discussion might in fact be their own fault
