How do you read fanfics on Soonpi? I'm very frustrated when I click on the chapter number and then it links me to the comments.

Yeah, they remodeled Soompi a while ago so most of the chapter links for old stories doesn’t work.

I do got a trick if you don’t mind wasting time trying to do this.

First, click on the chapter number. It should just lead you to the soompi forum/comment section but look at the url.

For example, for the fanfic Almost Lover, when you click chapter 2. It leads to the Soompi forum but this url shows up on the link bar: http://forums.soompi.com/index.php?s=&amp%3bshowtopic=328215&amp%3bview=findpost&amp%3bp=15335732

Look at the numbers as the end of the url. For the link above, it is 15335732. That’s the comment number.

Insert those numbers into this link:http://forums.soompi.com/discussion/comment/[INSERT THE NUMBER HERE]/#Comment_[INTESERT THE NUMBER HERE ALSO]

So, for chapter 2 of Almost Lover, the link should look like this:http://forums.soompi.com/discussion/comment/15335732/#Comment_15335732

Lol i just liked her writing so much that i wanted to know more about her you know, like the basics ! Heeey please please. I heard that CBU is in a book now. I just started it so i thought you may know about it. And do you know something about Solangel ? Gomawo ♥♥♥ Ps : i almost finish it already so can you suggest me another FF, same kind please :)

As far as I know, CBU is not published into a book yet. It is expected to release December 2013.

Also, do you mean what I think about Solangel? If so, I think she is definitely a talented writer. I read most of her stories (except for her Ardor Series) and they are all really good. It has definitely been a while since I finished reading her old stories. However, my personal favorite would be Banana Pancakes or Love Bugged, despite CBU being everyone’s favorite haha. She has definitely grown as a writer and Love Bugged showed how much her writing has matured. 

Fanfics with similar genre (gang-related) would be the famous WTTU (Welcome to the Underworld), F&L (Fists and Lipsticks), F&L 2 and The Tiger (never read but was always on the recommended thread). All of them should be available on Soompi with the exception of WTTU.

Hello, I'm a big fan of Soompi fanfics and I happened to come across your tumblr page. I saw the equation from Almost Lover and I became super curious about what the meaning behind it was. I tried to read the story but I realised that I cant access many of the earlier ones :( So I've come to ask you for the meaning of that equation. I'm so curious!

Summary: Landy bartenders at her uncle's bar along with her friend, Anna. One night, she meets Jong Min, a strange "beast" with orange hair, who snuck some vodka into the bar. She decides to confront him, but ends up with a few strands of his hair and his bottle of vodka. Two months later, she, again, encounters Jong Min when she was going to her Tae Kwon Do lesson. However, this time Landy decides to mess with Jong Min's "girlfriend" (or so it seems), Mie Suk.  It turns out Jong Min is the gang leader of The Black Dragons and Landy was about to get her ass kicked for messing with Mie Suk. But funny enough, she was forced to agree to join Jong Min's gang after showing her kick ass fighting skills. As if suddenly becoming a gang member was not bad enough, she finds out Anna has taken a liking to this man named David, who turned out to be Jong Min. But things turn for the worse when Landy falls for Jong Min. What about Anna? And what happens when Jong Min's enemy, Cobra, takes an interest in Landy? 

Comments: I've notice that all I've been reviewing are gang fanfics. It's not my intention to do so but lately, I've been rereading a lot of gang fanfics! This story is cute and straight to the point. I remember this story was quite popular back in the old soompi days when there was even an Amaranth Clan. There isn't a lot of twists that will make you want to die from curiosity. I'm not sure if it's just me but there was a part in this story which reminded me a lot CBU (Conversations Between Us). I'm not sure which fanfic came out first but the similarity was quite noticeable. Aside from that part, the fanfic was definitely different from CBU. If you want a great laugh and a short read, this fanfic is definitely for you.

To those messaging me for a pdf/doc of WTTU: I'm sorry, I don't have the pdf or doc. ): I know it might be difficult for some of you to buy the book (or e-book), but if you can, definitely buy it. Support Con because that girl definitely deserves it. :)
